I woke up to my alarm going off. I turned over and tapped the off button a couple times till it went off.
I got up and and got dressed in a little comfy outfit .
"Hey honey do you want some eggs" my mom said the toast out the toaster.
"Um no I'm fine" I said sitting at the kitchen island.
"Alright , who's your friend?" She said out of nowhere
Well damn .. can I collect my thoughts first.
"Just this boy I met in my first class , he's cool "
I say a slight smirk appear on her face .
"Please don't start ma , you know how I am " I said shaking my head .
"I know jay, but you can't let those past experiences stop you from having good ones " she said putting some eggs on her plate.
I sighed , not wanting to talk about it .
"Mhm" I mumbled getitng up.
"Jay. Please just listen to ur heart not ur head " .
Tears started to well in my eyes.
I grabbed my keys and headed out the door .
It might seem rude to just walk out on my mom but that's what I do when my feelings start to show . I don't like talking about anything, i just take a deep breath and move on .

Getting in my car I drove to school, parked, and got out walking into the school. Seeing sharife I walked behind him and jumped on his back.
"Bruh get off me jay" he said holding my legs
"If you wanted me to get off why did u hold my legs" i said laughing
"You right" he said letting go of my legs making me fall off and scream.
Everyone looked at me weirdly
"Damn yall bouta break yall necks..carry on with ur day"i said , mean mugging everyone .
Me and sharife made our way to our first class and sat in the same seats we sat in yesterday. Then I noticed that sharife had a chick fil a drink in his hand.
"What you drinking" I asked him
"Sprite why" I smirked
"You wanna share" I said giving him a devilish smile
"Nah I'm good"he said looking at the drink.
I turned around in my seat huffing. Crossing my arms for a more dramatic effect.
"Are you serious" I heard him say from beside me .
But u get to eat my shit . Idc if it was one bite ..
I didnt answer
"Omg here bro" he said setting the drink on my table.
I smiled wildly taking the drink.
"Thank you " I said making him roll his eyes
I took a sip then gave it back to him.
"You tryna hang after school"he asked
"When" I asked kinda anxious
"After school at my place, you could drive us ".
"How u gone make the plans and I gotta use my gas?" I asked with a mug.
"I'll pay for gas and food , just tryna hang out with you "
Right .. prolly tryna get in my panties for all I know .
"Ight " I said with a low sigh .

Hey mom I'm going to a friend's house so I'm gonna be home late.
