Internship was one of the biggest part of their life. Those were the days where they came across many new people who were rich in knowledge and experience. They tried to learn as much as they could but there were some days where they would dread going to work.
They used to call each other every day to share their work experience or to make fun about their co-workers. He shared all of his problems with her and even though she could not do anything about them, she would reassure him that everything will be alright. He would find comfort in her words and that is how each day of their internship used to pass.
Sometimes she would get a surprise from him at her workplace. Once he showed up with doughnuts because she was mad at him. “Did you come all the way here because I was mad?” Amy asked with awe.
“I did not have any other option. You were not replying to my messages. You were not even picking up my calls.” Yash replied and offered her Doughnuts.
“You are an idiot, I don’t even know how to react. I am happy but I am mad too because you left your work just to make sure that I talk to you!” She was overwhelmed with feelings.
“It’s not a big deal. You are more important to me than any work.” He was observing her and he knew that her anger is melting away.
“Fine! I will eat this but you will not do such things again, okay?” Aarya did not want him to go to such lengths for her.
“I can’t promise anything. I’ll do it again if I have to. For you, A thousand times over.” And they both laughed at his cheesiness.
Internship was never fun, but they knew how to make it fun. They constantly had each other’s back and would stand like a support system if any of them would face problem at their internship. It was not always oh so smooth between them too, there were days when they would fight like cats and dogs, there were days when they wouldn’t even talk to each other, but they always found a middle ground and resolved every matter between them. Internship was indeed a long journey….
