I shoved the frozen lasagna casserole in the microwave and set the timer then pressed the start button, aimlessly staring at the wall in front of me as I leaned against the counter and waited for it to heat up.

Even though I was hungry as hell after that thorough clean-up through the living room, my mind was still reeling after everything Azrael had told me just about an hour ago.

He loved her! He still freaking loved her, yet he was only scared!

Hah!

I let out a loud and unlady-like snort, lightly amused at the irony of that. He was the Archangel of Death yet he had more feelings than a freaking regular human being.

Who knew?

And though my heart was telling me to just haul my ass straight to her room and tell her everything to put an end to her pointless suffering, I knew I couldn't. It was only fair that I kept it for myself and just let him be the one to lay out his feelings for her.

He deserved that much.

They needed to have a sit-down and be honest with each other.

Even though it pained me so greatly, I knew I couldn't interfere. It wasn't my place to do it.

I wonder where did they go though...

I thought as my gaze casually shifted to the clock on the wall, just in time to feel a light vibration travelling throughout the entire house.

What the hell?

I curiously looked around me in a stupid attempt of finding the cause of it, just to feel yet another one.

Okay, this is weird.

Forgetting all about my lasagna, I fastly exited the kitchen, intending to go find Rick as I was already starting to feel a little scared.

Only the moment I set foot into the main hallway I let out several loud and freaked-out screams as the three archangels suddenly materialized out of freaking nowhere, both Azrael and Lucifer holding down a very pissed-off looking Raphael.

I swear I will never get used to these guys!

And before I could even take another breath Raphael shifted faster than the wind and threw a fist straight towards Lucifer's flawless face, only to have it blocked just as fast.

I stupidly blinked in utter astonishment after witnessing such display of insanely fast reflexes, blankly staring as I noticed them now having a very heated staredown, both holding an inhumanely still position.

I audibly gulped as even I could feel the tension between them rolling off in huge waves, my gaze slowly shifting to Azrael, who was also worriedly looking between them.

"W-what happened?" I dared ask him in a faint whisper as to not bother whatever was happening between the two, quickly hearing Azrael's response,

"We found Daya,"

My brows quickly shot up at the hearing of that, weirdly staring back at him.

"But for some reason, she doesn't remember any of us,"

What?

I was about to ask him how and why when sudden movement drew my attention, shocked to notice that Raphael had finally managed to hit Lucifer and send him flying straight into a wall.

"Oh my god!" I gasped out loud as they started throwing inhumanly fast kicks and punches between blocking out each other's blows, creating a destructive chaos in their path as soon they started damaging things as well.

"Hey!"

Everything and everybody abruptly froze at the sound of that voice, all our heads snapping up in unison in utter disbelief, only to notice Blake standing at the top of the stairs with her hands on her hips and angrily looking at the two previously fighting archangels.

"What the fuck is going on?"

**

I anxiously chewed at my bottom lip as I looked between Blake and the three archangels while Ricky sat right next to me.

They were having another heated staredown, only this time, it wasn't just between Raphael and Lucifer.

This time, it was Blake the one who kept glaring at Lucifer as if she wanted to viciously murder him, all the while Raphael and Azrael kept gazing at her, only the latter looked like he would pounce on her any moment now as his midnight eyes kept longingly roaming all over her features while she bluntly ignored his presence altogether.

I have to say that even though I had Rick right next to me to soothe my nerves, the suspense was simply killing me as they had been going at it like that from about an hour ago.

They've been silent ever since she had stopped the fight between Raphael and Lucifer, then walked to have a seat here in the living room while the others followed.

I still didn't know what was happening but for some reason, I could feel that it was bad, judging by the way Blake kept glaring at Lucifer all the while he stared right back at her, his gaze holding nothing but pure sorrow though.

"Why did you do it?"

At first, I thought that I had imagined it as Blake's voice came out in a tiny and barely audible whisper, the only hint that she had really spoken being the sudden change in her previously scowling expression.

"Why did you bail on me like that?" Her voice lightly trembled as she spoke again, my eyes quickly going wide at the sight of that first drop trailing over her cheek.

Oh my god...

"WHY?" I startled in response at the sound of her choked cry, feeling my own eyes quickly fill with unshed tears as I could practically feel the pain in her voice, even though I had absolutely no idea what she was talking about.

"Fucking tell me why!"

Even through blurry eyes, I could see Lucifer was about to finally say something when she suddenly rose from her spot and without a single warning, she gave him a harsh and loud slap across the cheek, right before storming away.
