"Girl, this kimchi fried rice is everything," I exclaimed excitedly. This is the best way to get over a breakup with your first love, eat your problems away.
But what really concerned me the most was if I wanted to stay in the place I live in right now. Especially knowing how many memories are held in there.
I think I might actually have to talk it out with summer.
And so, knowing that if I want to see if I can stay for a bit, I had to let her know.
"Hey girly.." she threw her head up immediately from her bowl, wiping her face with her napkin.
"Yes, cutie vi??" She smiled at me, definitely not knowing what the hell I am about to bring up.
"I want to be honest with you and get this off my chest..," I breathed in
"Me and yoongi broke up like exactly an hour ago and I don't know what to do.."
She just stared at me like a ticking time bomb and was I surely right.
"WHAT THE HELL!!"
"WHERE IS THAT BASTARD I KNEW IT, GIRL!!! HE WAS PLAYING YOU FOR THE HOUSING WHAT DID I TELL YOU!!!" I just looked down, knowing she warned me about this beforehand.
She got up and quickly started looking for her purse and her keys, I already knew what she was planning.
"Summer! I'm okay, I'm going to be okay right now but I just graduated college and I'm only working as a barista right now.. my biggest concern is how am I going to live?" I looked at her with pleading eyes for help.
Quickly changing moods trying to be mature about the situation at hand,
She sighed and set her things down, quickly processing the situation carefully.
As she sat back down at the table, she started massaging her forehead in thought.
"Look now I don't have a problem with you staying here at all, but what is your plan? You just graduated from a music school that you were planning to pursue with yoongi, but what now?"
"A solo career perhaps? But we both know how hard that is to build up.., " She kept going,
"Some people even start as kids girl. Please think about this carefully because when my parents moved away and I had to live by myself, it was hell."
She looked into my eyes seriously, but soft with care.
I don't know what I want to do. But I am so lucky to have this girl on my side right now.
But in all seriousness,
I know I have a serious passion for music, but how will I start? How long will it take for me to build up this career?
I'm only 21...
I think I will be okay, just breathe.
"Earth to violet.." Summer said calmly, resting her head in her hand.
I snapped back in place from my spaced-out state, looking straight at my best friend Summer to lay it out.
"Okay so, I don't really know where to start. Like at all." I scratched my neck in embarrassment, thinking of how much stuff I have to go through to just get a stable paycheck in the certain condition I'm in.
Summer sighed once more, opening her mouth to give some of her most reassuring advice yet.
"I understand what you mean and I think you might want to take very little steps with this. I know that a musical career can be a hard one, so I will cut you some slack." She smiled at me joyfully and reassuringly.
