Rodolphus was surprised to see his best friend hanging out more and more with his little sister. Tom would often invite Pandora to spend their time together with him and her brother.
Sometimes she was joining them, when she had nothing else to do. Everything was better than spending time with her disappointed mother.
"Why are you inviting her all the time?", Rodolphus asked Tom one day.
"Why not? She's not that annoying anymore, you have to admit"
"You empathize with her, right? Tom, believe me, marrying Tobias is the best thing that could ever happen to her"
"It is not my intention to argue with your family's decision. I'm only saying that spending time with Dora is..."
"Dora", Rodolphus squeezed his eyes, "You called her Dora"
"Uh...", Tom panicked for a moment, "That's her name, isn't it?"
"I'm ready!", Pandora ran out of the house and joined them. She was wearing a white shirt and black short skirt, casual sportswear. Her hair was in curls and her lips were bright red. Tom couldn't help a little smile.
"You've already invited her, have you not?", Rodolphus sighed.
"Your sister is a powerful witch, my friend. She should watch us and learn", Tom told him but his eyes were still on Pandora.
She couldn't believe her own self but these curls in her hair, bright lipstick and short skirt were for him. Everything was for Tom. She developed a crush on him because he was the only kind person to her in the house at the moment and well, the fact that he was deadly handsome was also helping. He had the power of making her forget Tobias and that was really something.
He also had the power to choke her to death with one single dangerous spell but at that point she wouldn't even mind that. She'd rather die than marry her cousin and to die because of Tom's spell would be a heavenly way to die. She's never been in love before that's why she was so extra about it.
Her brother has just turned seventeen which meant that he could use magic outside of Hogwarts. Him and Tom, who was seventeen since The New Year's Eve, decided to have a little duel to practice their skills. Tom invited Pandora to watch them.
"Alright", Rodolphus sighed, "But if you open your mouth, I swear I'll make you regret it", he warned his sister.
She giggled.

They went on a green hill nearby the forest behind Lestrange Manor. Pandora remained silent but she had to admit that watching her brother losing with Tom was enjoyable. Rodolphus was losing all the time. He was frustrated and angry but too scared to snap at Tom. His sister was an easy target.
"What are you laughing at, imbecile?!", he looked at her angrily.
"I'm not laughing at anything, my dear brother", she told him innocently and fluttered her eyelashes, "I'm just happy to spend some time with you and that the sun is shining!"
