Pandora had no idea that her mother had seen her and Tom from the garden. She noticed Priscilla's weird stares but they weren't that unusual during the summer of 1944 after the whole situation with Tobias. Despite that, when they were saying goodbye to each other on the Platform 9¾, her mother's words concerned her.

"Behave, please, my child", Priscilla hugged her daughter, "I don't want to receive any more letters from Hogwarts about you causing trouble. Focus on studying and... avoid the boys. You're engaged now and it would be unfair towards Tobias to play around"

At first, Pandora had no idea why her mother had said something like that. She was never a runaround type, never had a boyfriend and never planned to have one. And then, she realized that her mother probably had seen something she shouldn't had seen.

Tom and Dora had few favourite spots in Lestrange Manor where they would hide from other people and spend long minutes on steamy make-out sessions. It was happening every day for the last two weeks of the summer holidays and Pandora couldn't wait to finally be at school so they would have more occasions to spend time together.

"Mom, you can worry about me causing a fire inside the castle, blowing something up accidentally, being rude to teachers... But not about the boys", she tried to convince her.

"I hope so", Priscilla raised her eyebrow, "Just remember that you're a Lestrange. You seemed to remember about that in the beginning of the summer", she added before giving Tom Riddle a dirty look. He was talking to Rodolphus and didn't notice that but Pandora knew what it meant.

"A-alright, mom", she lowered her head and then noticed Eileen Prince waving at her from the other side of the platform, "Mom, it's Eileen! Can I go to her?"

"Of course, Dora", her mother smiled at her gently, "I'm going to miss you... Despite everything that happened. I know that in two years you're going to realize that we want the best for you"

Her daughter only nodded to her because she didn't want to argue with her and then she ran to her best friend.

"Have you told Rodolphus about us?", Tom panted in between kisses when Pandora dragged him to the empty classroom after dinner

"Have you told Rodolphus about us?", Tom panted in between kisses when Pandora dragged him to the empty classroom after dinner.

"Are you kidding me?", she giggled and started placing little kisses on Tom's jawline, "I don't even talk to him", she murmured.

"He should be treating you better. You're his little sister, he should take care of you", Tom said, "I'll talk to him about it"

"Okay, but...", Pandora bit her lip, "Don't tell him about us"

"Why not, though?", Tom raised his eyebrow, "Maybe he would try to convince your parents that..."

"Oh, Riddle", Pandora laughed at that and caressed his cheek in a maternal way, "Rodolphus may be your dog but he wouldn't like the idea of me dating you. My parents would never allow us to be together as well"
