Chapter 9

The next time I saw the guys was in a meeting in June. We had to iron out the last few details before our tour.

I made sure to bring Zach's jacket back, after I washed it of course. I got to the meeting a little early so I waited, chatting with my manager about the upcoming tour.

When the guys and their manager finally arrived I went up to them to say hi and to return the jacket.

"Hey Zach, here's you jacket back! Thanks for everything" I say.

"Oh yeah of course, anytime" he says, hugging me.

I go to hug Daniel and I see him frowning.

"Hey Daniel! Are you...okay?"

"Oh yeah, um hi" he says awkwardly, giving me a hug.

I go over to hug everyone else.

"Hi Jonah!" I say.

"Hey Ellie" he says warmly, giving me a hug.

"Heyyyy Ellie!" Corbyn says, spreading his arms out.

"Hey!" I say.

"What was all that about?" Corbyn asks, nodding his head towards Zach.

"Oh umm" I say, not sure how to start.

"Ellie was caught in the rain and I saw her so I gave her my jacket and drove her home" Zach cuts in, looking at me.

I nod along, grateful to not have to explain about my embarrassing escapade.

"Hi jack!" I say giving him a hug.

"Hi Ellie!" He says, giving me a side hug.

Everyone finds a seat at this long meeting room table. I'm sitting in between Zach and Daniel while, Corbyn, Jonah and jack are across from us. Our managers are off to the side with a few other people overlooking everything.

For the first 30 minutes we talk about the songs and rehearsals and anything that has to do with the actual performances.

Then they start talking about the bus and how much stuff we should bring and how to pack. The guys looked bored because they've been doing this for a while now but this was all very new to me.

As I'm trying to remember all the stuff people are telling me, they start talking about the day to day schedule and a basic outline of the day.

So we would be sleeping in the bus and when we wake up we would get checked into a hotel where we can shower and change and get ready for the day. Then we would all regroup to do various interviews and things. Then a few hours before the show we would do a sound check and then the actual performance. Than everyone gets back on the bus and we repeat it, but in the next city over.

Okay that seemed pretty manageable. It all made sense and I personally like to stick to schedules and be on time so this wouldn't really be a problem for me.

"So umm there have been some...concerns" their manager Randy speaks up.

"Yes, as you some you guys know, usually when the boys go on tour, they share hotel rooms but now that Ellie is joining you guys, us adults are concerned about the whole room sharing situation" Kate continues.

"Yes yes, so Ellie" Randy Says, looking at me, "we are going to give you some options to make sure you're comfortable and feeling safe throughout the tour"

"Umm Okay" I say nervously.

"We can either, offer you a room to yourself in the morning which we would try our best to do for you in every city, although it may be a little tough. Or if you were to share a room so we can split the group into 3 and 3, than you can pick who you want in your room so you feel safe and comfortable." Randy explains.

"Okay well I don't want anyone to go through too much trouble trying to do things for me and I don't really mind sharing?? as long as everyone else is good." I say, looking around. Everyone else nods.

"Okay well you can go ahead and pick out the two you're most comfortable in sharing a room with"

"Well I don't really mind? I mean we're kind of sitting in two groups right now so I guess this is okay? If everyone's okay with this?" I say indicating to the two sides of the table.

"Okay Yes that's fine. So rooms will be Corbyn, Jonah, Jack and Ellie, Zach, Daniel" Randy Says, writing something down.

"Okay I think that's sums it up! Let's have a great tour everybody!" Kate says.

Everyone in the room cheers.
