Chapter 14

Oh my god I am freaking out. It is currently 20 minutes before the show and I feel like I'm underwater.

In for four, out for four
In for four, out for four

As I'm trying to calm myself down, the group comes up to me, completely oblivious to how nervous I am.

"Okay were gonna teach you our little ritual" Jonah says.

"Okay we all put our hands in the middle and- Ellie are you okay?" Daniel asks me, his hand on top of mine.

"Umm I might throw up but I'm fine" I say.

"Don't be nervous! You know exactly what you're doing" Zach says, patting my shoulder.

I nod and take deep breathes.

"Okay okay, I'll be fine" I say, shaking my head.

"Okay so put your hand in the middle and we chant, '123 why don't we' okay?" Jack says.

"Wait but I'm not a part of the band" I say pulling my hand away.

"No but you're a part of the team so get in here" Corbyn says, grabbing my hand and placing it back in the middle.

We all do the chant and a big group hug. They all take me to the side of the stage and I peek out to see the crowd.

Holy guacamole it's FILLED with people. I mean I know their not here to see me but that just makes me feel like I need to impress them even more.

I turn around wishing that I could bolt and I  lock eyes with Daniel. He sees the panicked look on my face and and puts his hands on my shoulders.

"Ellie, Listen to me," he starts out, "you will be amazing, it's just like any other show you've done, you know exactly what to do. You've rehearsed everything and they will love you"

Daniel gives me a hug and I hang onto him as if my life depends on it. We don't move until someone taps me on my shoulder.

"You're On in 30 seconds" the guy says and walks away.

What he's just gonna leave me? Here? Bruh! I'm stood there frozen, unsure of what to do.

"Good luck" Daniel says and gives me a little push towards the stage.

I walk out and the crowd cheers. Oh my god. Their cheering for ME.

I here the track playing in my ear and I jump right into my first song. Soon enough I'm feeling more comfortable and confident. I'm just straight up vibing with everyone.

Then I'm playing my second song and people actually know the words! To my song!!

I look to the side of the stage and I see all the guys standing there. Jonah gives me a thumbs up and I give him a nod, continuing with my song.

Finally I preform my last song which starts off a little slow but soon picks up. I'm doing all the right choreo and I'm hitting all the notes and It feels incredible. I finish the song and turn to see that the guys are gone.

(A/n- Last song is Free Time by Ruel but they way he performs live but like live at HIS concerts if that makes sense lol)

I thank the crowd and run off stage to see the guys all In a single file line, ready to get on stage. They all hold out their hands and I hi-five them all down the line.

Too breathless to say anything, I just turn around and watch the stage screens intro. All the guys run up onto their little platforms and jump right into trust fund baby.
