Wow they are so nice!! I mean I wasn't expecting them to be mean but they didn't have to go out of their way to be nice.
We texted in that groupchat almost everyday. We would make random conversation or the guys would make passive aggressive comments about each other for my entertainment.
About a week after our first meeting Corbyn asked me if I wanted to face time. Obviously I said yes.
"Hey!!" Corbyn says when I pick up.
"Hi!! Sorry I look like a mess" I say gesturing to my messy hair and only slightly stained shirt.
"Hahaha don't even worry about it. How have you been? What have you been up to?"
"I'm doing pretty good, I've been working on some new songs and things so that's fun I guess. What have you guys been doing?"
"Pretty much the same. Hey wanna go say hi to everyone?"
"Sure!" I say laughing.
Corbyn takes me over to Jonah who was reading a book outside.
"JONAH" Corbyn tells in his ear.
"Oh jeez Corbyn" he says rubbing his ear.
"Look it's Ellie!!"
"Oh HI ELLIE!! WHATS UP"
"Hey Jonah!! What book are you reading?" I ask.
"Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets"
"Oh my gosh I LOVE Harry Potter!!"
I can see his face light up instantly.
"Really?? The guys aren't as into it as I am!"
"Whaaaat? We have to have a discussion about this later" I tell him.
"For sure" he says going back to his book.
"So I think Daniels grocery shopping right nowwww" Corbyn says while running through the house.
I have to admit I'm a little disappointed.
"He'll be sad to have missed you though" Corbyn adds on.
"Oh really?"
"Yeah, He's been raving about your music, JAAAACK WHERE ARE YOU"
Wow MY music??
"Wow tell him thanks from me" I say, just as I hear a faint voice from somewhere inside their house.
"Don't worry I will, I think I've found jack." Corbyn says, jogging through a door.
"LOOK WHO IT IS GUYS" Corbyn yells, turning his phone.
"Ayyyyye!!" Jack And Zach say at the same time.
"Hiiiii!" I say waving.
"How are you Ellie?" Jack asks.
"I'm doing good!! How are you?"
"I'm doing pretty solid" jack says nodding.
"That's good, thats good...." I say trailing off awkwardly, "how are you Zach??" I ask.
"Oh I'm doing good" he says, looking startled that I spoke directly to him.
"That's good" I say nodding.
"OKAYYYYYY well that was fun" Corbyn says, turning the camera back on himself and walking out their room.
Corbyn starts to update me on things that are happening. He starts telling about rehearsals and how they have to do some dance choreo.
All of a sudden i hear a door open and someone yelling in the background.
"HEY COME HELP ME BRING IN THE GROCERIES"
"Is that...Daniel?" I ask.
"Yup, and I don't even know what the hell he bought because we literally never cook." Corbyn says.
"HEY CORBYN, COME HELP ME" I hear again.
"Yeah sure gimme a sec!! Let me say bye to Ellie!"
"Wait Ellie?"
"Yeah bro come say hi!" Corbyn says, turning the phone to face him.
I give Daniel a wave.
"Oh hi Ellie!" Daniel Says, his face breaking into a smile. he looked very red a sweaty and was also carrying 4 family sized pack of chips.
"Hi! Well I guess I should hang up so you guys can bring in your groceries? I gotta go anyways" I tell them.
"Yeah sure, thanks for talking to us Ellie!" Corbyn says.
"Byeeeee!" I say and hang up.
