Paisley stood in front of the Cameron's house, the music was already booming and drunk teenagers were everywhere- Rafe was hosting his weekly party as Ward and Rose had taken Wheezie away on some business trip.

It wasn't unusual to find Paisley at the Cameron household most of her days and it definitely wasn't unusual to see her at one of Rafe's parties.

Paisley had been best friends with Sarah Cameron for as long as she could remember.

The Summers and Cameron family had always been close- Ward and Paisley's father had fallen into business with one another almost twenty years ago and even before that the two men had grown up with each other.

The only disadvantage to all of that was Sarah's older brother- Rafe Cameron.

He was the most self absorbed egotistical asshole Paisley had ever met- which is why she liked to call him Prince Jackass to pair with his nonstop calling her princess every time he saw her just to piss her off.

The two had never really gotten along- sure on the playground they swapped toys and made small conversation but as the years progressed so did the mutual disdain for one another until eventually Paisley just hated him so much.

Maybe it was Rafe's stuck up kook attitude or Paisley's inability to " take a joke " ( they were always offensive and never actually funny ) that had them always at each other's throats.

There wasn't really a backstory as to why they didn't get along.... they just didn't.

It was that simple.

" Pais!! " a familiar voice called out causing the girl to look up as she made her way into the house.

A smile stretched across her face as Topper Thornton, one of her very best friends, made his way over to her- Kelce and Rafe trailing behind.

" Hey! " she exclaimed before reaching forward and pulling both him and Kelce in for a short hug before quickly pulling away, unable to stand the stench of sweat and booze that clung to them

" Come on Sweetheart- no hug for me? " Rafe asked as he took a step closer to her

" Careful Rafe- people might see you and think you ACTUALLY want to be associated with me "

The boy simply laughed " Just trying to be nice princess "

Paisley scoffed, throwing up her middle finger at the boy, hating nothing more than when he called her princess.

It was always so mocking and demeaning.

" Can the two of you put away your claws for one night please? " Topper asked as he wrapped his arms around both Rafe and Paisley, squeezing them closer to him

" Topper you smell disgusting " Paisley muttered as she pulled herself from his grip, taking a step back from him

" Agreed " Rafe mumbled, a look of disgust spread across his face

Paisley couldn't help but laugh at the sheer look of disgust spread across Rafe's face

" Hey Pais- been looking for you " JJ's voice sounded from behind her as he made his way to her and wrapped his arm around her shoulder

Paisley shrugged his arm off of her " You also smell disgusting- what did you need? " she asked, looking over at him

" Sarah and Kie sent me to find you and now that I have- I'm going to take you away from these assholes and bring you to the real fun "
