As Paisley sat on Sarah's bed she couldn't help but let a million thoughts race around her head, desperately wanting to know if what Rafe had said held any truth.

His words had cut like a knife- He was famous for his low blows but this one was different, another knife in the back except this one was twisted so far that she felt she couldn't breathe.

" He's wrong you know " Wheezie said, entering her older sisters room and taking a seat next to Paisley

" Yeah? "

" We don't act like you're family- you ARE family. Blood or not you've been around my entire life- you're just as much my sister as Sarah is if I'm being honest- Point is we all love you Paisley... even Rafe, he's just not ready to admit that yet "

Paisley sniffled as she pulled Wheezie in for a hug.

She loved Wheezie the most

She didn't consider Sarah a sister like she did Wheezie- For the girls entire life Paisley had looked after her, always taking care of her when Rafe and Sarah wouldn't, always ensuring she knew she had someone to talk to or just be around.

She loved Wheezie with her entire heart.

" I love you so much Lou, I hope you know that " Paisley whispered

" Are you okay Pais? " Sarah asked as she walked into the room, sitting on Paisley's other side.

Paisley pulled away from Wheezie, sending a small smile to her best friend " I am now" throwing her arm around the youngest Cameron

" Rafe's an idiot " Sarah said

" Yeah no shit " Wheezie grumbled

" Louisa! " Paisley exclaimed, unable to stop herself from laughing out of pure shock

" Hey- what's with all the laughing in here? " John B asked as he took a seat next to Sarah, lifting his arm slightly so the girl could fit underneath it.

While she wasn't happy with how they got together it was clear John B brightened Sarah in a way no one else had and that's all Paisley could ever really ask for.

" Lou here has quite the mouth on her " Paisley said, lightly scolding the girl next to her

A knock at the door pulled the groups attention away from each other and towards the entrance of Sarah's room where Ward stood

" I just wanted to come and apologize to you for what Rafe said tonight and Thank you for not hitting back- No matter what he says you're apart of this family Paisley... you were before what happened with your parents and you'll continue to be long after "

Paisley's face softened " Thank you... I truly hope you all know how much I love you "

" We love you the same and so does Rafe even if he doesn't act like it "

She laughed at this " No I don't think so just- don't be too hard on him over all of this... he's been getting better with everything- he just needs more time " She reminded softly

Sarah sighed " I don't know how you can still defend him after all the shit that's happened in the last day "

" All I know is that my son has never deserved you- you're too good for him Paisley " Ward remarked, exiting the room to go find Rose

" I should get going " She mumbled, standing up and grabbing her bag

" Wait- you're not staying the night? " Wheezie asked
