           Paisley was seemingly off in another world as the chatter from her friends was nothing but a distant noise in the background- about halfway home she'd angrily turned around and drove towards the Country club.

She may be beyond pissed at two of the Cameron siblings but that didn't mean she could crap out on the rest of her friends for the second day in a row.

The only problem- She hadn't been able to stop thinking about Rafe.

He was seriously starting to get on her nerves the more and more she thought about things- it was like he wanted her but at the same time couldn't stand the idea of committing to anything

Not that she herself was ready for all of that but it would be nice to not have to be his secret, kept hidden away from all of their friends.

" Pais are you even listening? " Topper asked, snapping Paisley out of the trance she was currently in

" uh no sorry- my heads somewhere else today  " she mumbled as she sat up straighter, turning her head slightly so she was facing her friends

" what's up with you? You've been off all day " Kelce questioned

" nothing just.... didn't get much sleep " she explained, sending her friend a half assed smile that said " don't worry about me I'm okay "

Rafe looked over at the girl, concern radiating off his entire body " You okay? " he mumbled softly in her ear

" M'fine Rafe " she said, dismissing his concerns and feeling absolutely baffled that he had the audacity to even ask knowing he was half the reason she was upset.

A part of him wanted to hit back her dismissal with some stupid remark, the other part of him worrying if he was doing her more harm than everything else.

His look of concern and soft words to the girl didn't go unnoticed, Kiara's gaze practically burning a whole through Paisley's head

Paisley caught her eye, shaking her head subtly in an attempt to calm her friend down

" Hey Pais, remember that thing about that thing you were gonna tell me about the other day? We should go talk about it- like now " Kiara said, jumping up and ushering Paisley out of her seat before quickly dragging the girl away from their friends

" Wow- you take a masterclass in subtlety Kie? Because that wasn't suspicious at all " Paisley teased sarcastically

" Dude-  What was going on earlier? You TOTALLY slept with Rafe again didn't you! "

Paisley nodded sheepishly " I did- I so did " guilt practically seeping out of her

" Oh my fucking god! One time my ass! Spill- NOW " she exclaimed, far too loud as their group of friends snapped their head towards the two girls- most with confusion written all over their faces, Rafe with a small smirk knowing exactly what they were talking about

Paisley reached forward, placing her hand over Kiara's mouth " Kiara! " she exclaimed quietly, slowly removing her hand from the girls mouth

" First of all- you cannot tell Sarah! She's already jumping down my throat about how I don't need to be leading Rafe on or hurting him- which is bullshit by the way "

Kiara's face dropped " Wait what? Is that what you were talking about earlier- screaming about actually "

Paisley nodded her head " Yeah we got into a fight about it this morning actually... like I get that Rafe's her brother but you should have seen the way she threw shit in my face earlier "
