they first went to get Alby, he was hung up on the wall with some vines, "wow shank, you're idea really worked" Minho say's seeing that Alby was fine and not in a Grievers stomach, Thomas smiles before they all get him down. they heard a cracking sound meaning the doors had opend "finally" y/n whispers and they made a few more turns before they saw the open doors. they saw everyone walking away from the doors and Chuck was looking at the grown with a sad face then looked up.
he started screaming and cheering which grabbed some of the gladers attention "yes, I knew i knew it they would make it out alive" he say's, y/n Minho and Thomas lay Alby on the grown and the gladers surround them. "did you see a griever" Chuck asks "yea" y/n replies out of breath "we didn't just see one" Thomas pauses before pointing at y/n "she killed one" he finishes and all the gladers look at her in disbelief.
The Med jack's where taking care of Ably while y/n, Thomas and Minho where patching themselves up. they were not severally hurt, they just had a few scratches and cuts to patch up. the only thing that was on y/n's mind was what is Thomas's punishment going to be. Gally hated Thomas the first time he saw him, and he probably hate's Thomas more for breaking one of the rules. which happens to be one of the most important rules.
Thomas on the other hand was nervous as to what his punishment would be. I mean he's only been here for what, 3 days and he's already in trouble. And what they did with Ben, didn't help his nervousness. he doesn't want to be eaten by a griever. "do you maybe know what they might do to me" Thomas asks y/n, she realised his heart was beating fast, he was scared she thought to herself. "don't worry it wont be that bad, Newt Minho and I will try to make it ummm you know like not that bad" she says "we're not going to banish you, if that what you where thinking? that's only if you where stung" she continues, "o-okay" he says. at least he knows that he wont be eaten by a griever.
After they where done patching themselves up, they headed towards the meeting. Gally was already doing his little speech on giving Thomas a bad punishment. he kept on talking and talking and talking, y/n didn't even listen to a word he was saying cause she already knew it was something stupid. "well maybe we should ask, Y/n she was in the maze with him" "hmm what" says hearing her name. (that's me when the teacher calls on me lmao)
Gally rolls his eyes, she wasn't even listening to a word he was saying "what do you think we should do with Thomas" she stands up and takes a deep breath. "well, what he did was really, really stupid, umm but he survived the maze, even though he was new, I say we make him a runner" the entire room starts yelling and screaming upon hearing what y/n just said, but she did not care, she's not changing her response just because everyone hates it. ( if someone doesn't like my opinion I would cry)
Thomas's head shot up did she just say that he thought to himself. he would love to be a runner. the only person that really agreed with y/n was Newt Minho and Chuck. Gally on the other hand, his blood boiled after hearing what y/n just said. "no he cant be a runner, c'mon Newt" he says desperately looking at Newt, he was second in command and because Alby is sick , it up to Newt what to decide. Before Newt could talk, the siren started going off. The box came up 'but it hasn't been a month yet' y/n thought to herself. they all got out of the room and ran towards the metal box.
y/n and Minho opened the door and Newt jumped in. that's when everyone got a better look at the Greenie. but it wasn't a boy, it was a girl. y/n couldn't believe it after all these years they finally sent another girl up, but the girl was uncurious, she also head a letter in her hand. "It's a Girl" Newt says in his Thick British accent "what's in her hand" y/n asks as Newt carefully lifted the folded piece of paper. he quickly unfolded it and read out loud what was on it "she's the last one, ever?" he looks up at the others in confusion "what does that even mean" he says.
Suddenly the girl gasps "y/n......Thomas" she says and her eyes roll back again. everyone looks at Thomas and Y/n. "uh I-I-I swear I don't know her" y/n lies. she saw her a few times in her dreams, well maybe there not dreams they could be flashbacks. "I don't remember anything other then my name" Thomas also lies, he saw her once in his flashback too.
"we should start getting her out" y/n says and looking around at the boys "oh don't worry, we'll get you're friend out for you so you could chat with-" Gally begins but was cut off by y/n. "oh shut it Gally or I swear to god I will rip, you're birdy little eyebrows off your face" she says her eyes turning red, Gally stands there in shock seeing her eyes turn red and back to normal, and she walks away while the med jack's get the girl out of the box.
The Med Jack's eventually get her out of the box and on to a bed. Thomas Newt and Minho where already there and y/n started walking towards the little hut. she just needed a little bit of alone time after what had just happen.
"heyy" she says closing the door after her, and stands beside Thomas "Why isn't she waking up yet" Thomas asks wanting her to wake up, maybe she'll know who Thomas is cause she knew his name. y/n felt something weird after he said that, a word to describe that feeling was jealousy. she was jealous of how concerned he was about the girl. 'wait I cant like him, well I mean he's nice cute funny, oh no' y/n thought to herself she likes Thomas. "she's just unconscious, I don't know when she'll wake up" Jeff says
she was deep in her thoughts and didn't realise Thomas had left until she heard the door closing. she runs after him, curious as to where he was going. "hey, Hey wait up" she says as Thomas stops in his tracks after hearing her voice. "where are you going" he doesn't say anything but looks at the direction of the maze. y/n squints her eyes and turns towards the maze then back at Thomas, "you're seriously not in there right?" she asks "aren't you a little curious about the griever" he asks getting y/n thinking. he was right I mean there could be a clue in the Griever. "alright meet me in the dead heads in 5 minutes" she says jogging away.
y/n collects a few people and meets him in the deadheads. they where going to find out what's in the maze. they had convinced chuck to distract Galey while they sneak into the maze. "alright we have to stay together" y/n says as they entered the maze. after a few minutes they found the Griever that y/n had killed the other night. it smelt and it looked horrifying. "there is something beeping over there" Thomas say' pointing at one of it's legs and took her claws out before taking a deep breath and put her hand in the Griever. It was so slimy, she finally pulls it out and waves her hands around the air in attempt of getting the slimy things off. she reads it carefully "7" she looks at everyone for Ideas as to what that could mean. fry gulps "can we start heading back, I don't want to meet this guys friends" they all agree.
