Chapter 16: Dodgeball caos

"Pristine!?" I shout the second i walk through the door for group therapy.

She runs to me and jumps into my arms. I can feel silent sobs racking her body.

"How could you! You were ganna leave me!!" She shouts as tears stream down her face. "How could you." She repeats in a quiet whisper.

I shut my eyes and squeeze her tighter "im so sorry." I whisper.

After a while i hear someone clear their throat.

I look up and see a lady probably in her early 30's.

"Hello, you must be Luna? Im Sara. I will be your therapist today for group session!" She smiles.

I smile lightly and grab Pristines hand leading us to the empty chairs beside Percy.

"Where Jinn?" I whisper to him.

He shrugs before looking at me and reaching out to grab my hand.

We interlock our fingers and it makes me realise how much my mind can play with everything.

I mean, percy clearly still cares about me and Pristine clearly still likes me and yet in the time of my lowest all my brain thinks is negative.

"Alright so lets get started then! We are splitting everyone into smaller groups today." Just as sara finishes the door opens.

"Hello!!" Naomi smiles to everyone before looking behind her and saying "okay you guys can come in!"

Who's coming in?

I watch intently as Jinn along with a few other girls including Jane march into the room.

"Oh! Perfect! Okay so pristine, bailey-

She goes on naming a few girls and boys.

"Please head over to Naomi!"

Wait- what!? Are they leaving?

Pristine lets go of my hand gently and gives me a quick hug before leaving.

At least percy's still here.

"As you can see their are now 3 groups. How ever only Sara's will be in this room. I am going to bring the other two with me! Its good to meet new people and make new friends, get to know each other, have fun!" Naomi smiles and leads the other two groups out the door.

"Alright! Lets start!" Sara cheers.

I tune her out as she continues to talk, instead i observe the others in my group.

I only know Percy, ive met Jane but i wouldnt say i know her.

Ash is in here too but Jinn is closer to him then i am.

He isnt much of a talker.

Theirs also a black haired average sized girl with a billion scars all along her arms.
Another boy looks around 14, he keeps looking at the ground and playing with his fingers. His face looks very sad as if he just doesn't care about anything anymore.
Then theirs one more boy who looks quite young as well, probably 11 or so. He's just sitting their smiling looking really content with life.

I wish i could be that carefree.

I look down to Percy's hand intwined with mine. I slightly smile and bring it up to my lips slowly.

I can feel his eyes on me as i gently kiss the back of his hand.

With out looking to his face i look back at Sara and decide to start listening.

"-you guys ready!?" She smiles brightly in question then when a few people mumble a yes she jumps up and heads over to a stereo.

What the fudge cakes is happening?

"Pssst Percy! What the hell are we suppose to do?" I whisper.

He laughs and lets go of my hand before standing up "you should have been paying attention!" He says quirkily before skipping off and heading to one of the walls.

I notice others lazily walking to a wall as well.

I decide to ask the girl with scars whats going on.

"Yo, im Luna! What are we suppose to do?" I ask.

She looks at me and laughs lightly "did you zone out during instructions?"

I shrug my shoulders "im still getting over the fact that you didnt, i mean dude it was boring as hell." I smile.

She grins back "fair enough, im Anastasia by the way."

"Cool name!"

"Thanks! Anyway were playing dodge ball, she made the teams which is girls against boys as you can see."

I look to the left side of the room and see the two younger boys beside percy then on our side is us along with Jade.

"Ah yes cause who doesn't have a game of dodge ball with only six people." I say sarcastically.

She grins and quickly looks at me wrists which are fully bandaged up at the moment.

"Oh, your THAT Luna, i herd about what happened, I've tried doing that too. Apparently i can get out of here soon though because i- i really just want to get better. No more hurting myself y'know?"

Im really happy for her... She actually wants to get better, she doesn't want to hurt herself anymore. Shes ganna get out of here and she definitely deserves to.

"Thats awesome, im so glad that your getting better!" I say kindly.

"Are you two weirdos done? We have to make a game plan!" I hear Jade snap.

I roll my eyes, im so done with her crap.

"Oh would you just shut up already!" I say before walking over to her.

Wow, my anxiety really is getting better!

Im not as shy anymore!

At my new realisation that being able to talk freely is awesome and wont give me an anxiety attack anymore i smile and shout to Percy "Your Going down, prepare to dieee!"

"Ah no babe! Actually your going down!" He winks and gets in a ready stance.

How was i so lucky to come into contact with such a magnificent creature?

"Okay ready!?"

We all are smiling and getting ready to sprint full out to the balls as she counts down.

"THREE!

TWO

ONE!

GO!!!"

Oh and dont worry this scene is defiantly continuing into the next chapter! I just think its too long for one chapter so why not split it into two!?

Anywho i love you all for reading this book! I have another idea coming for a different book but i wont go forth with it until this one is finished because HELLO i luv you guys too much!

Besides i need to focus on getting more updates of this one out faster!
