Love at first sight

Chapter 11

Y/N is a nervous wreck. She doesn't know how the boys are going to react. She's not your typical mom. She has tattoos, piercings, and mid length hair with highlights. She's 5'4, good shape. Not too skinny and not too chubby, and is Hispanic. She is light skinned, close to porcelain skin. She has freckles and light brown eyes.
They're on their way to the restaurant, and Yoongi can't stop smiling. They're holding hands the whole way there. They hear the car stop and the driver lets them know that they're finally at the restaurant. Y/N seriously starts to get nervous.

Yoongi: It's going to be ok. Trust me. They're going to love you.

Y/N just chuckles nervously.
The door opens for them and they start walking towards their table. They turn the corner and it looks kind of like a VIP table, far from the other tables. She finally sees all 6 boys. Namjoon turns and sees them and he stands up. Soon the rest of the boys stand up as well. They approach the table, and Y/N is kind of hiding behind Yoongi but still holding hands.

Yoongi: Hey guys, this is my girlfriend Y/N. Y/N this is Namjoon..

::she goes and reaches out to shake his hand and gives him a kiss on the cheek. Hispanic culture::
She doesn't realize how tall they are up close. So she has to get on her tippy toes to reach and give them a kiss.

Y/N: Hi!! Nice to meet you Namjoon.
NJ: Hi Y/N! It's great to finally meet you!!
Yoongi: This is Seokjin
(Y/N does the same. Hand shake, kiss on the cheek)
Yoongi: This is Hoseok...

And so on and so forth. Taehyung seems to be the last one Yoongi introduces her to, but he seems to be the only one to disagree with the whole idea of Yoongi being with an army.

Yoongi: Y/N. This is Taehyung...Tae this is my girlfriend Y/N.

She reaches out to shake his hand and Tae just looks down at her and scoffs at the way Yoongi introduces her. The whole time Tae never tried to shake her hand, he just kept them in his pockets.

Tae: Girlfriend? Ha! We'll see about that.
Hoseok: Taehyung!! Don't be rude to Y/N! She has nothing to do with your problems!

Y/N just turns to look at Yoongi, and he's giving Tae a death stare, grabs her hand and leads her to their chairs to sit down.

Hoseok: Don't mind his rude behavior, he's being an idiot right now.
Y/N: It's ok. No worries.

As they all sit down, they start ordering drinks, and start looking at the menu. Taehyung wouldn't stop giving Y/N dirty looks the whole time. She notices, but doesn't say anything and keeps it to herself. She did notice he was drinking whiskey, with a beer on the side. He had to be going through a heart break because last time she saw someone drinking that hardcore was when her best friend Tyler broke up with his fiancée. She can see the pain in his eyes. The evening goes on with good conversation and laughs. The boys seem to really like Y/N. Then Jungkook asks her about her kids and their dad. Yoongi immediately turns to JK and gives him a look like wtf, because not even Yoongi has asked her about it. Y/N turns to him and says it's ok with a smile. Sooner or later it was going to come up in conversation.

Y/N: Well, I was married for about 7 years. The marriage started off good, I got pregnant immediately after the ceremony lol and then that's when his true colors started to show.
JK: What do you mean his true colors?
Y/N: Like what he really was like as a person.
Jin: And what was he like?
Y/N: A drug addict and an alcoholic. The longer I stayed with him, he started being physically and mentally abusive with me. I kept ignoring it and lying to myself that he was going to get better and snap out of it, but he didn't. It only got worse.

Yoongi squeezes her hand and she turns to look at him.

Y/N: It's ok Yoongi. We can talk about it. 😊
JK: Y/N I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to bring your painful past up...I...
Y/N: It's ok hun. I don't mind
Jimin: Why didn't you leave him then?
Y/N: Because I honestly thought he was going to change, but in reality I was just his meal ticket. Sucks to say, but it's the truth. The sex was good....for a while. But then the shittier he became as a person, you kind of stop being attracted to them you know. I knew deep down inside that the relationship was over, but I still stayed. He beat my ass, would push me, shove me, call me names just because I wouldn't give him money for his drugs/alcohol. I was the one working and supporting my babies. He was just an extra mouth I needed to feed.

While Y/N was telling them her story, JK, Jimin and the rest of the boys were teary eyed. Yoongi was hurting for her and grinding his teeth in anger that this guy put hands on her. The whole time he had his arm around her and would not let go. Jungkook and Hoseok reached out to hold her hand.

JK: I am so sorry you went through all of that.
Y/N: It's ok Jungkook, really. I mean I don't regret my relationship. Because if I did, that would mean I regret having my 3 beautiful girls you know. I don't see it as a mistake, I see it as a lesson learned. But the good thing is, now I can tell when a guy is being real or not. I can see right through the bullshit.
Jimin: How were you able to over come that fear and break up? I mean some of us stub our toe and think we're doing to die. Lol but here you are, keeping your head up and moving on like a champion.
Y/N: 😊 Thank you. But well...that took a long time actually. I went to therapy for years. Suffered from depression and anxiety, which I still do now btw. But in reality it's true what people say, you heal with time. That's all you can do. You do go through the heart break, to crying non stop, to anger, to hating everyone and everything around you, you name it. It's normal to feel that way.

As soon as Y/N finishes that last sentence, Namjoon and JK look over to Taehyung, who is completely quiet and actually listening to Y/N's story. He had just been through a hard break up, which explains his behavior.

Y/N: You just need time, and support from your family you know.
Namjoon: I would have never thought you went through something like this. The way you present yourself, and how you are. No one would ever guess.
Jin: Does your ex have a relationship with your girls?
Y/N: No. Not at all. I don't think he really cares, so he's stayed away. Which I think it's better in a way. He's a toxic person, my girls don't need to be around that or him. I am their mom and dad. And all they need is me. At least that's the way I see it.

Yoongi can't help but smile at her. His heart is hurting for her because of what she went through, but is also proud of her that she moved on and has been raising her kids on her own. She is one of the strongest women he has ever met...in his opinion.
