Chapter 20

Continued Taehyung's flashback:

Taehyung ends up falling asleep in his clothes when he hears drunk Leah come in. He gets up and tries to help her lay down, but she refuses.

Leah: Get the f*ck off me! Don't touch me!

Taehyung backs off and walks her to the spare bedroom he has and lays her down. She passes out drunk and he leaves her and shuts the door. He goes back to his room and starts packing her things. Or what ever clothes she has there. Sometimes she would leave on a Friday and not come back until Sunday afternoon without letting Tae know. So he was surprised she was home. He gathered all of her belongings in a suitcase, and put them at the front door. This was breaking his heart into a million pieces, but he knew it was the right decision. She is too young and immature for him. So he made the decision. He goes back to sleep but locks his door, and wakes up to Leah yelling in the house. He gets up to see what all the commotion is.

Taehyung: Why are you yelling now?
Leah: You have something to tell me Taehyung? Why is my bag at the front door??
Taehyung: Because I'm breaking off our engagement. You're not ready to get married and settle down. You just want to hang out with your friends and get drunk. And I'm not about that.
Leah: Oh so you think you're better than me?
Taehyung: Believe what you want Leah. I don't want to argue with you anymore.

Her attitude changes super fast

Leah: No Tae! Please! Please don't leave me. I'm sorry if I've been mean. I'm just so stressed out because I lost the baby, and I'm still not able to find a job, and I have no money. Please don't break up with me.

Tae just looks at her, finding it hard to believe what she just said. And she kept saying "the baby", not "our baby". And that bothered him. He let her stay, but told her until they worked it out she would be staying in the spare bedroom. She didn't like the idea, but agreed to it. They had breakfast together for the first time in a while. It was quiet but she was there. They spent the day together which was just staying home and vegging out. She was on her phone most of the time, but he was just observing. Night time came and he got up to get ready for bed. He let her know that he had an early meeting and wasn't going to be home when she woke up. She said ok. He goes to bed and shuts his door. Gets ready for bed and falls asleep. He forgot to lock his door, and Leah sneaks in. Starts looking around the room for any cash laying around. She was indeed planning on leaving Taehyung because she could no longer hide it. In reality she just wanted to sleep with him not have a relationship. Leah was one of those type of girls that were hood rats that loved going to concerts and sleep with whomever she could from the band. That was just how she was. She didn't care about anyone but herself. She just neglected to mention that to Tae. He started moving around in his bed, and Leah stopped and hid. She ended up leaving his room, and would try again it in the morning after he left for work. Morning came, and Tae got up to take a shower and get ready to go to the studio. Leah heard him get up, but stayed in bed. He knocked at her door and let her know he was leaving. She pretended to wake up and told him ok. She gets up and walks him to the front door. She tries to kiss him but he turns his face and she ends up kissing his cheek, which pisses her off even more. Tae leaves, and she hears the bodyguards leaving with him as well. She waits for about 30 minutes and starts getting ready. After she gets ready, she starts going through all of his things. Leah for sure knows that Tae has cash in the house because she over heard him telling the guys once. She just has to find his hiding spot. She's so pissed off and frustrated when she sits down on the couch, she looks at the "ugly painting" he has above the tv in the living room. She gets up and lifts the painting...Boom! Jackpot!! She found the hiding spot. The one mistake Tae did was never purchasing a small safe with a combination. He just made a hole in the wall stuffed money in there and covered it with the painting. Time passed and he completely forgot about it. Leah runs and gets one of her bags, comes back and starts putting the money in it. She doesn't know how much she grabs because she's just trying to hurry up. She thinks she has enough and writes Tae a note.

Taehyung:
I know this was never going to work out. I never really loved you to begin with. I just wanted to have fun with you for a bit, but then you proposed. Don't bother calling me or texting me. My number has completely changed. I hope you have a great life.

Leah

As Taehyung reads the note he just feels his blood starting to boil!

Taehyung: FUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!!! Wtf?? She left me! She really left me.

He sees that his house was turned upside down. Leah let her 2 guy friends come in and take whatever they wanted. He goes to the living room and sees that the painting has been moved above the tv, and he remembers.

Taehyung: The cash! She took all my cash I had.

He ran to his room and looked for a notebook he had where he wrote how much he had. She took off with a little bit over 5 million won. Tae completely forgot about his hidden stash. He didn't know he had so much.

Present Day

Jin and Joon finished telling Y/N Tae's story. Now she knows why he's so stand off-ish with her. Tae thinks Y/N is going to do the same thing to Yoongi. Her heart hurts for Tae and finally understands his point of view.

Y/N: Did you guys ever find where this chick went?
Joon: Last we heard she was still here is Seoul.
Yoongi: Yeah! The dumb ass didn't even bother moving to a different city. She stayed here.

Y/N turns around not even realizing Yoongi was in the room. She looks down, and her face is all red.

Yoongi: What's wrong babe?
Y/N: ::shakes her head:: Did Tae even call the cops and report her ass?
Jin: No. He said to just leave it alone.
Joon: He didn't eat or sleep for about a week or so. He was so depressed.
Jin: Yeah, we were all worried about him. He lost a lot of weight, you could just tell. But slowly and surely he started getting better. That's why we post poned our tour. To make sure Tae was healthy enough to travel and perform.

Y/N: And that's where Yoongi and I met right?

Joon nods. But he sees how upset Y/N is.

Y/N: I'm sorry. I know this was 6 months ago, but how in tf did you just let this bitch go?? Seriously?

Yoongi chuckles. Because he had a feeling Y/N was a feisty one.

Jin: Dang, no wonder you're in love with her Hyung. You guys are exactly the same....you're not afraid to speak your mind.
Y/N: I'm sorry you guys. I didn't mean to cuss, but that really pisses me off. How can someone do that to another human being?!?? That's just not right. I don't know, maybe I was raised differently...but now that I'm here....lol oh man. I can't wait to get to know this city.

Jin and Joon look at each other. And Yoongi looks at them.

Joon: Why did you say it like that?
Y/N: Say what? What'd I say? 😉 I just can't wait to get to know my new home town is all Joon. 😊
Joon: Oh. Ok. I thought you meant something else.

Y/N shakes her head no. But deep down she was already planning something out. She was going to try and find Leah.
