Santana loved her dress. It was a soft pink on one side with a hard red on the other. It was so cute in her opinion and she hoped her spouses liked it.
She grabbed her bag and gift for Artie and left her room. She went downstairs and put on her boots before sailing out to her car as she put on her coat and things.
She drove to the younger Chang house and found somewhere to park before going to the door.
Pendleton answered. "Hello, Miss Santana."
"Hi, Pendleton." She smiled.
"Allow me to take your belongings." He helped her out of her things.
"Thank you." She let him.
Once everything was put away, he bowed shallowly. "The party is in the ballroom. Have fun."
"Thank you, Pendleton." She winked at the old man and strode to the small ballroom.
He went back to manning the door.
She made it to the ballroom and saw it was decorated with reds and pinks with silver and white accents. Fresh flowers were everywhere and gave the room a heady scent. Mixed with it was the smell of delectable food.
She really wanted to try that and saw her spouses weren't there so she set her gift and phone at a table before going to the buffet.
She grabbed a few things, all mini bites and totally cute. All clearly labeled. Then she grabbed punch and went back to her seat.
"That looks good." Artie scared the hell out of her a few minutes later as she was eating.
She choked, luckily it was small and went down easy. "Hey!"
"My bad!" He laughed.
She punched his arm. "I'm pregnant! You can't scare me!"
He rubbed her arms. "I'm sorry. Don't cry."
"I'm not crying!" She was.
"Why are you crying, San?" Brittany waddled over with her gift for Artie and her phone.
The brunette Aries sniffled. "I'm not crying!"
Brittany set her things down and hugged her girlfriend from the back. "It's okay, San."
"I scared her." Artie admitted. "I'm sorry, baby girl. I'll make more noise next time."
Santana felt herself being soothed against her will. "I'm okay."
Brittany squeezed her gently before letting go and sitting down. "This looks so good. It actually looks like a dance. But better."
Santana sipped her punch. "The food tastes good."
Artie stole a pastry from her and popped it into his mouth. "Yup!"
She stared at him in shock before bursting into tears.
Brittany glared at him as she soothed their girlfriend. "That was very mean, Artie!"
He was completely frazzled by them. "I can just get you another."
Santana glared at him through her tears. "Two!"
"I'll get you two." He unlocked his brakes and made tracks to the food tables.
Mike was nearby, filling up his cup and plate. "Hey."
"Hey, man. What's up with those girls?"
Mike's eyes shifted before he looked around. "What girls?"
"San and Britt." Artie enunciated. "They're crazy."
Mike let out a small laugh.
"I'm serious, man! All San does is cry and Britt is mean."
