Baku POV

The rest of the visit was like nothing happened, we were just talking about current drama at school, damn Deku, and the work I'd missed. It almost felt normal. I was actually sad when they had to leave, I didn't realize how much I missed them. It was Saturday, I should be getting released tomorrow so I can get back to class on Monday.  It would probably be weird for the first day or two while everyone gets used to it but hopefully, things can go back to normal soon.

Sunday:

I was getting released today, without Kiri. I decided I would go see him again before I was discharged. I sat there holding his hand for 3 hours. Every time I would go to stand up to leave I would want to sit down immediately. I couldn't leave him, not like this. An hour later my parents came to pick me up, when I went to let go of Kiri's hand I felt a small pull, was he holding my hand? I watched as his eyes slowly fluttered open. He was awake! He was alive! My mom ran to get a doctor while I hugged him. I never wanted to let him go. He'd been in a coma for almost 2 weeks and now here he was, awake and in my arms! I was so scared he would never wake up, his injuries were really bad. The doctors came in and ran a few tests to make sure there weren't any long-lasting injuries. Recovery girl had been coming every day for Kiri, Aizawa said without her he wouldn't have survived. When I was finally able to see him I couldn't help but hug him, I didn't let go until I felt him shaking me. I was so glad to have him back, I didn't want to let go. After a week of signing I automatically signed, "Hey, it's been a while" followed by Aizawa translating. Kiri looked confused for a second before looking at me in shock, "What happened?!" He turned to face Aizawa, "Can he still hear? Is it temporary?" I grabbed his hand, I could feel he was in shock and wanted to calm him down. I was ok, I would be ok. I could read Aizawa's answer, "No, he can't hear. As of now, we don't know if this is temporary but it's likely permanent." He turned to me and looked at our hands, I guess he understood what I was trying to say and hugged me back. After a couple of minutes, we let go. "Well, looks like I'm going to have to learn sign!" Kiri said with the biggest grin I've ever seen. He would learn to sign for me? Between that and the letter maybe it's not so outlandish to think that he likes me too. All I could do was smile back. "So, how long have I been out? I'm considering it's been a while cause of how everyone's acting towards me. Also, I don't really remember what happened, I know we were at the raid and the league was there but it's all fuzzy." I explained what I could remember with the help of Aizawa translating.
