Bakugo POV

I woke up in the hospital. Deku, Uraraka, Tsuyu, and Todoroki were with me. "Kirishima! Is he ok! Is he alive! Where is he?!" I couldn't think of anything else, everything hurt but all I could think about was him. I needed to know. "Is he ok!" They traded looks as if they were trying to decide who would break bad news, I thought the worse. "He can't be dead, he can't." Finally, Uraraka spoke, "He's not dead, just in really bad condition. He's in the ICU upstairs. You really need to lay down and rest Bakugo, it's been a week, you guys were hurt really badly." I couldn't hear her. I could see her lips moving but I couldn't hear anything, I didn't notice before but I can't hear myself either. I tried to read her lips the best I could. I can't let them find out, this could be temporary after all. At last, I understood what she said. He was alive, in bad condition, but alive. It had been a week, how? Wasn't the raid yesterday? "What do you mean it's been a week?" She looked worried but then understood, "You were unconscious for a week, the fight was last Tuesday." That wasn't my priority though, I had to see Kiri. I had to make sure he was alive and safe. "Take me to him. Please, bring me to Kirishima." That was the first time I've ever said please to them I guess cause they all looked shocked by the word. "Bakugo, you need rest. You were hurt very badly." Deku's lips were harder to read, he talked faster and mumbled but I understood what he was trying to say. "I can't rest, I need to see him. Now." "Ok, but you're not walking there yourself." Aizawa entered the room so I only caught the last half but I got the general idea.

Aizawa brought me up to the ICU. I didn't know how badly he was hurt but I needed to see him. We entered his room and now it was just Aizawa, Kiri, and I. I looked him over and assessed his injuries. Aizawa was behind me so I couldn't tell if he was talking or not, I guess that's when he noticed. He stood in front of me to sign. "So, you can't hear me, huh?" I was shocked. I was trying so hard to hide it but it was hard when I didn't know whether people were talking to me or not. "Is it that obvious? What are the extent of his injuries?" I signed back. "Kind of and he's in a coma. He was impaled through his abdomen and he has several broken bones. He was conscious for the first few hours he was here. He asked me to give you this." He handed me an envelope, it was from Kiri. the front said open next time you're alone. I put it on my lap and continued to study him. This was my fault. I couldn't protect him. I was too slow. If only I was faster, I could've taken the blow and saved him. It should've been me. I stayed with him as long as I could, I didn't want to leave. I eventually had to go back to my room. After everyone left I opened Kirishima's letter.
