There came a day when my mum and I went for a birthday party of a next door neighbour who just moved into neighbourhood and I made the biggest mistake of my life by eating there. So,before we left she didn't say anything about eating or not eating,so,I assumed I was allowed to eat.
My mum left for the kitchen where most other mums were so I just sat down, talked to a few people and then came this lady with a plate of food in her hands. She handed it to me and I said...
Me: Thank you ma,I'm not hungry.
It was then and there my stomach had to grumble making the lady to look at me and said...
The lady: I don't think your stomach says the same. Here* she puts the plate on my hands and I take it*
Then I look around for my mum but I remember she's in the kitchen with other mums and I couldn't interrupt but I see her drinking something,I assumed its was a drink because I was far off so in my mind I was like 'she's having a drink so why shouldn't I eat' .I took the cutlery and started eating,it was delicious and I was super hungry so I went to the kitchen to drop the plate when I see that my mum was drinking the bottle of water she brought from home and I just shook the thought of me making a mistake by eating without her permission out of my head.
My mum looked at me with a look of anger and shakes her head. Ohoh I'm in big trouble. So,the party came to an end and when we were walking to the car I was in front while my mum was behind me( biggest mistake EVER). I felt a hand on my ear next thing I know it's been twisted to different directions making me to squeal and then came the pinches.
Mum: Haven't I told you times without number not to eat anything without my permission
Me: Ouch* at the verge of crying* I thought you were having a drink so I ate seeing you were drinking something from the party but I didn't see you well.
Mum: Ok you didn't see me well abi? Don't worry by the time I'm done with you,you will never make that kind of mistake.* pinching me more making me to cry*
Shh don't let me hear a sound from your mouth.I nod in agreement.
We drive home and I was still crying, the pinches hurt so much. Trust me I don't think I'll go to any party at all because those pinches are already registered in my head and I don't intend to have a repeat of the same episode * sobbs* 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
