"Well, we better continue journey to the light taphus. We have to beat that general jerk to it or he'll use the taphus to suck the ether dry" said heracles and maxion nodded. The duo walked up the path that was carved by when woodsmen cut down the trees in order to make a path that leads not only the light taphus, but to the summit from which prometheus is chained. As they walked up the path, maxion noticed the ruins of a house and stopped as heracles continues walking. He noticed that maxion has stopped and was looking at something "why did you stop? And most importantly, what are you looking at?" He said, he walked back to maxion and looked at the direction of what he was looking "oh, that... this ruin is or was my house" he said "house?" Said maxion.
"Yes, that was my house, I can remember that day 57 years ago when I was fighting a monster that I thought I couldn't beat. My kid brother, iphicles, was the one who inspired me to keep on fighting so I fought the monster. When the monster was weakened, I used my power to call forth lightning to defeat it once and for all. At the end, not only I defeat it but I destroyed the house and iphicles got caught in the blast. He didn't share my immortality at the time, so I cradled his body crying. With his last breath, he told me to be a hero for others and to believe in myself, after that, his body dissolves into earth ether thus leaving behind his clothes. You should've seen me shouting out for him to come back and crying while pounding my fists into the dirt" said heracles as a single tear ran from his right eye. Maxion brushed his own tears because after all, he, heracles, and iphicles are technically brothers even though he was originally a mannequin made of silver. "That's enough for crying today, let's press on" said heracles and maxion nodded, they continue walking the path that leads them to the light taphus. After 2 miles, they finally arrived at the light taphus "Well, we're here. There's no doubt that this is the place, it's rather a gravestone of nemesis, the goddess of retribution" said heracles as he looks around, many of the orbs that represents the elements no longer glowed as if the place hasn't been used in a long time.
The duo entered the taphus and in there, they are in a small room "huh? Where's the passage? Unless... It's hidden" said heracles. Maxion looked around the room so he walked up to one of the columns to his left and pushed it, instead of falling, the column slides towards to the other column next to it and suddenly, the room shook as the floor sank into stairs thus revealing the entrance. "Huh? All we have to do is simply push one of these columns? Anyway, let's go down to the taphus core" said heracles as he and maxion head downstairs. They are in another small room with another stairs that leads down, both the walls, floor, and ceiling are black while the ends of the floor has a band that glowed white.
They walked down to the 2nd floor and they walked through the hall and entered a large room, the room has large rectangular blocks but are pitch black "these must be the taphus stones, it's strange that they aren't glowing with markings. Maybe it's something to do with the taphus core" said heracles. They exit the large room and walked down to the 3rd floor but they heard a low voice saying "intruders... aren't... welcome... here... please... leave" "did you say something maxion?" Asked heracles but maxion shook his head.
