i'm bored so i'm going to write yet another music video for you guys. if i keep doing this, i'll end up leaving no music videos for you to request. although this song is really underrated, so i didn't think any of you were going to request this one. personally, it's one of my favorite songs from taylor's debut album.
it starts with two kids climbing up into a treehouse in a backyard, one of the kids 7 years old, the other 9 years old, and then it switches to a fourteen-year-old taylor playing guitar to an old couple and for the chorus it shows the kids playing and talking in the backyard, and back to taylor for the second verse, and for the second chorus, the kids, now 16 and 18 years old, with the 18-year-old guy driving a truck in the dark with the 16-year-old girl in the passenger seat, and then them getting into a fight in the house that they used to play in as kids, and the guy storms out and goes up to the treehouse and sleeps out there. then they're sitting in a park, talking, when the guy proposes to the girl, and then it shows taylor playing guitar again for a few seconds, then the guy and the girl getting married, and going back to the old house and sitting on the front porch, talking about how they'd rock their own babies on the same porch they used to get rocked on, and then it goes back to them taylor when the song finishes, and she asks if the old couple like the song, and they say yes, it was very sweet, and they were surprised she'd write a song about them.
