"Daddy Dearest,
Oh, the idea of those words being true! It is laughable to even begin to comprehend it. Please do not fool yourself into thinking that I love you, or that you mean anything to me.
You are nothing, daddy dearest. Nothing.
Those two poisonous words feel as if they are about to bring out my stomach contents as I write them on this cheap and flimsy page, yet I have something to tell you. Therefore, I shall use whatever lies at my means to tell you the truth and depth of my feelings for you.
You are not my father.
Oh, you naïve, little soul. I wish I could lie and write that I feel for the pain you are going through. But remember this always: you are not my father.
How could you believe that I ever loved you? You tore my mother away from me and my father.
You spoiled my happy life. And I vowed to steal your money, at first. Then you made your disgusting excuse of a son. Then, I vowed to ruin his life.
I did that. I was successful.
How do you feel each time that you see that idiotic, pathetic son of yours in a wheelchair? He is good for nothing.
And then, he decided to bring even further misfortune upon himself – and you – by marrying that spineless girl.
Fadiyah. Even her name screams tragedy. Poor, wretchedly feeble Fadiyah flung into the middle of our family feuding. How does it make you feel knowing that you are the cause of her misery? How does it feel knowing that you unwillingly brought her almost-rapist to town? That you are the cause of her suffering because of your misdeeds?
How do you feel knowing that she was kidnapped because you destroyed my life?
I bet, that just like your stupid son, you are stewing in your mistakes. You should, after all, feel guilty for making her suffer.
What fault did the girl have apart from her stupidity?
I hope, father dearest, that you pay a grievous price for the pain I have gone through.
Don't fret, my death is not because of you.
Oh, how great you must be feeling knowing that at least one consequence rests upon your brittle shoulders.
With poisons and daisies,
Ilham.
The daughter that was never yours to begin with."
