A/N: This chapter takes place during Season 1, Episode 5. I may have edited/removed some conversations to keep it short or make more sense. Watch it if you want a refresher.
Nico and I didn't talk that morning. When school ended, she texted me to meet her in the club room.
"I escaped."
"You escaped what?"
"Y/N, I was caught spying on their training this morning. I barely managed to escape."
"How did they catch you?"
"I am a master hider. They must be able to see thro-"
"Nico. Did they tell you anything?"
"That Kotori person asked who I was. All I did was tell them to break up."
"I thought.. you didn't want them to fail like our club did?"
"Y/N.. It's not fair.. how come their group can succeed but ours didn't get to?"
It was raining outside. I wonder how Muse are going to practice today. I probably shouldn't ask Nico that, because she seems to be against them.
"H-hey Y/N! They can't practice since it's raining today!"
She laughed. I looked out the window and saw the school idol group walk out.
"Y/N, change your clothes. We're going to follow them."
"How do you know that they're not just going home?"
"They would've separated."
For once this girl used logic? I got some clothes and met with Nico.
As we were walking to the school entrance, I saw Eli's friend, Nozomi in the hallway. Nico and I stopped walking.
"It doesn't look like they have any intention of quitting."
Nico just pouted. We continued to walk and got changed. As we were following Muse, a kid teased Nico for having a hat that looked like a poop. I kind of agreed with him. Muse entered a restaurant. Nico stopped me before walking in.
"Let's hold hands."
I blushed. Why would she ask me that out of the blue?
"Don't act dumb. If we act like a couple maybe they won't recognize it's me."
"That's your fault for getting caught."
We walked into the restaurant and sat next to Muse's table. Nico and I sat across from each other. Nico kept peaking over a table divider.
"Watch this."
Nico had a sly grin and snatched fries from Honoka, trying to cause a disruption in their conversation. It worked.
"Umi! You ate my fries, didn't you?"
Umi looked mad.
"You don't even know how many fries you ate?"
Wanting to cause more havoc, Nico snatched some fries from Umi, who was sitting across from Honoka.
Honoka and Umi kept arguing until Maki calmed them down.
They started to discuss what to do now that they had more than five members. They thought that they could make a club. (Although they couldn't since Nico and I already owned the club about school idols. To reduce useless clubs, only one club could be about the same topic.)
