A/N: This chapter takes place during Season 1, Episode 10. Expect a confession in this chapter. :)

"You two would be standing a few feet across from each other. The setting sun would shine a beautiful shade of orange. The waves would be splashing against the sand as you look into each other's eyes. You could hear the birds quietly chirp their goodnight song. You finally gain the confidence to tell her what's been bothering you for so long.. and you realize that she's been feeling the same. You feel like you had finally confessed a crime that you have been hiding for so lon-"

"Okay, I get it Eli, that's more than enough!"

"Do you want me to bring up the idea of going to the beach or not?"

"Fine."

"So you do want to tell her.."

"Listen, it will not be like the scenario you just brought up."

"Huh?"

"In reality.. the sun will probably be covered by clouds. The waves will probably make the sand wet and sticky, forcing us to stand on a nearby dock. The seagulls will interrupt us anytime we even think of talking."

"You were the one who said you didn't want a romantic relationship. Would you be okay even if the beach is just as you described it?"

"Maybe I just shouldn't tell her.."

"No way Y/N! Don't you want a high school life that you'll be proud of?"

"I was fine how it was before we got affiliated with Muse."

"You said it yourself.. it's bad now because of us.. so don't you want it to be better?"

"Fine."

"Yay! I'll pass down the suggestion to Honoka! Bye Y/N!"

Eli hung up. She'll be disappointed if I don't tell Nico.

Great.

And that is how I am currently standing in front of Maki's family's beach house. They are a pretty wealthy family, huh? Nico looked jealous that Maki had a whole vacation house. I pat her back.

"Calm down."

Nico and I walked to the kitchen. Maki and Kotori were in there.

"I normally don't cook in here, my chef does."

Nico exploded.

"What? You have a chef?"

Kotori agreed.

"It's hard to believe that you have someone like that for your family."

Maki was defensive.

"Is it really that hard to believe?"

Nico wanted to also look impressive.

"Oh, so your family has one too? You see, my family has its own chef as well!"

Kotori was shocked. She couldn't see Nico's bluff.

"Wow! Really Nico? Y/N, did you know?"

Nico turned to me. Her eyes were pleading for me to say that she did indeed have a chef.

"Well, whenever I go to Nico's house the food is already made. I'm sure I've seen the chef there before."

Before Maki could object, Umi called our names. Nico turned to me.
