Temporary A/N: My school doesn't know how to handle online teaching properly so I don't really have much time to work on this. I'll start to upload weekly again.

A/N: I realized how boring this story would get if I just copied the main show's plot, so I'm not going to follow it through anymore. Although, some events from the anime may still occur.

Nico stared at me for a few moments, probably baffled at what I had just asked her. She had separated from them to spend time with me, but now I'm the one who wants to get back with Muse?

"Y/N... are you serious?"

I scratched the back of my head. There was an awkward vibe.

"Yes. It's just that, we did a lot more when we were with Muse. We don't really do anything special with our time anymore. I don't remember laughing as hard ever since we left them."

"No. We have to spend our time together before we graduate."

"Is sitting apart from each other and starting at our computers really spending time with each other?"

"Y/N, what do you mean?"

I looked down at the floor. My face heated up.

"We had more fun when we were around Muse. I know that we like each other... but we've never really done anything. Waiting to confess was just another obstacle... but when we did it... nothing changed. Is this how we're going to spend the future together, too? Just sitting around and looking at idol crap?"

"Do you have a problem with that? We've been doing this for the last two years!"

"If the only reason we separated was to spend special time with each other, how come all we do now is not spend any time with each other? I look at my screen more than I look at you all day."

"So for the past two years... you've hated researching idols with me... really?"

"No, no. It's just that once we were given moments that was different from what we usually did, I kind of got used to it-"

"I guess we just don't share common interests then."

"You're being stubborn right now."

Nico stood up. She walked right in front of me.

"Are you really going to call me stubborn? If you think spending time with Muse is better than being around me, then you can walk out of the room right now and never come back."

I'm pretty sure she's the one being stubborn right now.

"What? This is just one argument. This is nothing to threaten our friendship with."

"You're right. We've never done anything special together. Maybe we just weren't mean to be friends in the first place."

Tears finally started to flow down her face. She looked at me one last time and dashed through the door. Of course, I gave chase.

"Nico, come back!"

While running, Nico had begun putting her sweater on. She ran through the front entrance of the school. I kept following her before-

"Hey, stop right there!"

I ran into someone's arm. I fell to the ground. I looked up, to see a girl with orange hair, lighter than Rin's, staring down at me. She put a pair of black glasses on. Then she giggled.

"Sorry, but the principle told me to stop anyone without a coat on."

That made sense. Fall had begun, and the principal didn't want anyone to get sick as Honoka had been.
