Jayden's POV

I was about to enter my room when someone held my arm.

“I was there for Lisa when she needed someone... where were you? You weren't by her side right?” Jackson said.

“Yes, you were by her side that time but you didn't do anything to fix it. I wasn't there for her that time, but I am ready to fix everything” I said, and walked away, Instead of going inside my room I went to Jane and Tyler's room, I knock Tyler opened it.

“Hey man, what are you doing here?” He asked.

“Can I talk to Jane?” I asked.

“Sure come in” He said and I went in, I saw Jane on the couch with Ella.

“Hi, Uncle doctor!” Ella said.

“Hello, Ella... hey Jane can I talk to you?” I said.

“Yeah sure, sit down” She said and I sat down in front of her and Ella, Tyler sits beside me.

“Umm, okay so do you have the number of Lisa's parents” I said, her brows furrowed.

“Wait! Are you going to ask them for Lisa's hand in marriage?! OH MY GOD!!!!” Jane said.

“Uhh, No! No... I want to fix their relationship with Lisa” I said.

“I tried to do that Jayden, but they didn't listen to me” Jane said.

“I will try my best Jane, I'm not going to lose anything for trying right?” I said.

“Okay, I don't have but I'll try to ask my mom” She said and took her phone out.

“Yes please, thank you” I said, she messaged her mother after a minute, she answered.

“I got it! I'll forward it you” She said she forward me the message.

“Thank you so much, Jane” I said.

“No problem, good luck!” She said, I stood up.

“I'll go to my room now, thank you, see you guys later” I said and went to my room.

I called the number, I already tried multiple times but no one's answering. After a few tries someone finally answered it.

[Hello, who is this?]

“Umm hello, auntie? It's me Jayden... I don't know if you still remember me, but I am the son of—” she cuts me.

[a Jeon, of course I remember you. How did you know my number]

“I asked someone for it”

[Oh why did you call? Are you okay? Do you need anything?]

“I want to talk to you and uncle, if you're free tomorrow lunch, let's go have lunch, my treat”

[We're here in Japan, Jayden]

“Oh yes, I know that aunt, I'm here in Japan too”

[Really? What are you doing here?]

“I'm supporting someone”

[Okay, let me check our schedule.... Yeah, it's clear, let's have lunch tomorrow]

“Okay, you can choose a restaurant aunt and just send it on me, I'll take care of the reservation and payment”

[Okay, see you tomorrow]

“Thank you aunt, see you”

I ended the call and rest.

I went down to the lobby and a car stopped in front of me, it was a bmw, I rented this.

I entered the car and drive to the restaurant. After a few minutes I arrived, I park the car and went inside the restaurant.

“Good afternoon, reservation for Mr. Jeon” I said.

“This way sir” the waiter said and assist me on the way to the table.

Aunt and uncle are here now, I bowed to them.

“Good afternoon aunt and uncle” I said.

They both hug me, we sat down and ordered.

“How are you?” uncle asked.

“I'm doing great” I said.

“I heard you're a doctor now” Aunt said

“Yes” I said.

“Wow, that's great” uncle said.

Our food arrived and we started to eat.

“By the way Jayden, what are you doing here in Japan?” Uncle asked.

“I came here to support... Lisa” I said.

“Uhh, Lisa and her crew are joining a dance competition here in Japan... actually I'm with Rosé, Jane, Tyler and their daughter Ella” I said

They looked away.

“Actually aunt and uncle that's the reason why I want to talk to you guys... I heard what happen to your relationship with Lisa” I said, and they look at me.

“I know, I don't have the rights to tell you this but... will you please support Lisa to everything she wants to do, Lisa's doing well, she's earning enough money to eat, pay for her rents, bills and buy what she wants, and she's doing what she likes. Just, please think about it and whatever your decision is I'll accept it” I said.

“Let's continue eating” I said and just continue eating, after a few minutes, we're done. I called the waiter and gave him my card after a minute he came back and give my card back.

I put it in my wallet.

I was contemplating whether I should ask for their permission for Lisa's hand in marriage.

I sighed, I won't lose anything for asking. Since their Lisa's parents I should respect them and ask permission to them first.

“Umm, Mr and Mrs. Kim” I said formally.

“I love your daughter sir and ma'am, and I want to ask permission for your daughter's hand” I said.

“You're Lisa's boyfriend?” Aunt asked.

“No... we're not dating, I don't want to date her, I want to marry her” I said.

“I know it's Lisa's choice but still I have to asked for your permission, you're still her parents after all” I said.

“I don't need your answer right away, but I just want to let you know that my intentions are pure and I won't do anything that can hurt your daughter”

“That's all, thank you for having time for this lunch. If you have something to tell me you can contact me” I said and stand up and bow.

I was about to walk away, when someone spoke.

“Send me the venue, date and time of the competition... we'll watch it” Uncle said and I faced him.

“And Jayden... take care of my daughter okay?” Uncle said.

“Yes uncle! I won't break your trust I promise” I said and bowed multiple times while saying thank you.

“Thank you, Jayden... for making us realize a lot of things” Aunt said and hug me.

“No problem, aunt” I said.

“I'll go ahead, see you on the venue” I said and bowed one last time before walking away.

I entered the car and drive back to the hotel happily.
