Jayden's POV

It's our exam week today, and next week will be our intrams.

I'm here in the hallway walking while memorizing. Someone went beside me.

“Good morning” she said, and offer me a coffee.

“Good morning, thanks Lalice” I said.

Fuck! I called her Lalice again.

“Did you just call me Lalice?” She asked.

“U-uhh, yeah. I'm sorry” I said.

“No, it's fine” she said.

While we're walking someone called Lisa, it was from behind, so we look at our backs and saw Jane running towards us.

“Hey Jane” Lisa said when Jane arrived in front of us panting hard.

“W-wait” Jane said trying to catch her breath.

“We need you on the cheerleader team” Jane said.

“What?” Lisa said.

“One of the members back out, the intrams will be next week, we need a replacement for the one who left. You're fit for that position” Jane said.

“No way, you know I don't like that Jane” Lisa said.

“Please Lisaaa, just think about it okay? I'll talk to you guys later” Jane said and left.

Me and Lisa started to walk again, we have different classrooms for the exams. We arrived in front of her classroom, she faced me.

“This is my classroom” she said and I nodded.

“About what Jane said, I think you should really join the cheerleader team, you really suits to be a cheerleader. I would be happy if you joined and cheered for me on our games” I said.

“Just think about it okay? But don't think about it too much, focus on the exams to understand” I said, and she gave me a smile and nod.

“I'll go ahead. Good luck with the exam, Lalice” I said and gave her a soft pat on her head. I smiled to her and walk to my classroom.

Elizabeth's POV

“About what Jane said, I think you should really join the cheerleader team, you really suits to be a cheerleader. I would be happy if you joined and cheered for me on our games” He said.

OMG! Is he telling me he wants me to be his cheerleader?

“Just think about it okay? But don't think about it too much, focus on the exams to understand” he said. I gave him a smile and a nod.

“I'll go ahead. Good luck with the exam, Lalice” he said and pat my head softly, and he left me dumbfounded.

The way he called me Lalice, it was familiar.

I went inside the classroom, and went to an empty chair and sit there. I was looking in front and I can't help but smile.

It's already lunchtime, I finished my exam early, it was kinda easy for me.

I went to the cafeteria and buy a food and went to an empty table and eat.

I can't stop smiling and grinning to myself.

Omo! How can he manage to do this with just a simple sentence and a pat on a head.

“Hmm, what's with the smile?” Someone sits in front of me, It was Jane, she put her tray down.

“Nothing” I said smiling to myself.

“It's Jayden isn't it?” She said.

I giggle.

“What happened?” She asks.

“I'll join the cheerleader team” I said.

“Really? Thanks, Lisa!” She said.

“But let's go back to Jayden, what happened?” She asks again.

I told her what Jayden said to me.

“Oh, It was Jayden, who could changed your mind. Thanks to him” she said, I roll my eyes.

“Should I go to him and say 'thank you, JK for changing my cousin's mind, I hope you like her back'” She said.

“Hey! Don't do that” I said.

“Just go confess to him” Jane said.

“No, he will stay away from me” I said.

“How did you know?” She said.

“That's because everyone's saying if you confessed to a Jayden Kyle, especially if you're friends with him, he will stop talking and stay away from you. I don't want that to happen” I said.

“How about Rosé, she confessed to JK, but he never stayed away from her” Jane said.

“That's different Jane, Rosé was with her since they were in 4th grade” I said.

“How did you know that?” She asks.

“Duh? I was with Tyler last week, and you told me about that too, remember?” I said.

“Oh”

“And Rosé was the one who's been staying away from him, trying to remove her feelings from him” Jane added to my sentence.

“Do you think Jayden likes her?” I ask.

“I think no” She said.

“It's you” She said.

“What?” I ask.

“Jayden likes you” Jane said.

“You know what don't be so bias, it doesn't mean I'm your cousin you're always on my side, Rosé's your friend too” I said.

“No Lisa, I'm not being bias, I'm telling the truth, I think it's you, I think Jayden likes you” Jane said.

“Why is that?” I ask.

“I don't know but, I noticed to the way he acts with you, he cares for us but I think the way he cares for you is really different. The way he talks to you, just like what you told me about what Jayden told you awhile ago, about you being his cheerleader, it was kinda sweet, he's never that sweet to other girls” she said.

“Oh Jane, stop. I might believe that” I said.

“Try to confess to him, you guys might be waiting for each other” she said.

“I'll think about it” I said.

We started to eat and after we ate, we go back to our classrooms.
