Yerin's POV

"No. Just continue celebrating without me. I'll be fine here" Sinb said. I suddenly frowned. "You're such a mood breaker" Eunha said.

"It's already 11: 15 P.M. We'll get going now. Happy Birthday Yerin!" Sowon eonnie said. "Happy Birthday Eonnie!" they all said in unison. "Yah! Sinb, aren't you greeting Yerin eonnie?" Sowon eonnie asked.

Sinb just looked at me and the eonnies. "We're sorry for Sinb's attitude eonnie. We'll get going now. Let's celebrate your birthday when Sinb's discharged" Eunha said.

I just smiled and waved goodbye to them. I looked at Sinb who is using her phone. 'Is Sinb angry at me?' I thought to myself. I looked at my watch. It's 11:25 already. I went to the comfort room to wash my face. I was wearing earbuds listening to my favorite songs.

Sinb's POV

When Yerin eonnie went to the bathroom, I went outside my ward. I don't want the delivery man to knock because Yerin eonnie might hear it so I told him to message me if he's there.

"Here's your delivery Ma'am" the man said. I gave him my payment and went inside. I hid the flowers on the cabinet and put the cake on the mini refrigerator in my ward.

It's already 11: 50 when Yerin eonnie exited the bathroom. She went to the window side and looked at the scenery. It's quite peaceful now since it's almost midnight. There are only few cars passing.

I noticed that she was wearing earbuds so she wouldn't hear me. I took out the cake too. I lighted the candle and placed it on the table. I looked at my watch. It's already 11:58 P.M.

I went to Yerin eonnie and back hugged her. My head resting on her shoulder. She took off her earbuds. "W-what are you doing?" she asked me. I took a glance again of my watch. It's 12:00 A.M

"Happy Birthday Eonnie" I told her. She faced me. My hands were on her waist. "I thought you're angry at me" she said and hit my shoulder.

"Why would I?" I asked her. "Follow me" I told her. She nodded and followed me. I held the cake. "Happy Birthday Eonnie. Make a wish and blow the candles" I told her. She made a wish and blew the candles. After blowing the candles, I left the cake on the table and went to the cabinet to get the flowers.

"H-here, for you" I told her. She gladly accepted the flowers. "I'm sorry, I'll treat you something better once I discharged from the hospital. For now, this is all I have" I told her.

I could see her tearing up. "Hey are you okay?" I asked her and went near her. I hugged her. "Why are you crying?" I asked her. "I'm just happy. Thank you" she said. I used my thumb to wipe her tears. "Let's eat the cake now" she said and broke the hug.
