Yerin's POV

Wow, I can't believe that I got into a new job that quickly. I was just waiting for 2 hours so I guess that trying to apply here is worth it. I looked around the room and can't help but to be shocked since it's quite spacious.

There's my own table, some cabinet for files, couch, desktop and more. Now I wonder to myself 'What attire shall I wear every day? I only bought 2 sets of blazers. I might repeat wearing those'

My thoughts were interrupted when I heard a knock on the door. It was Miss Hwang. "Miss Yerin-ssi, can we talk now?" she asked. I nodded. "In my office please" she said and closed the door.

Once I arrived at her office which is right next to mine she told me to sit. "So, I have rules here" she stated. "You'll be only working with me and only me, you'll be the person in charge of my schedules, you need to report every now and then, when I go outside you need to be with me and lastly, you need to pretend to be my girlfriend" she added.

'Wait what? Pretend girlfriend?' I thought to myself. "You might thought why I need you to act as my pretend girlfriend. I just need my ex-girlfriend back" she stated. Now she read my mind.

"Is it fine for you Miss Yerin-ssi?" she asked me. I was hesitant to answer. "It's fine if you're uncomfortable about it" she told me. "Ah, no, it's okay" I told her. "So it's a deal huh? You may start working tomorrow" she said and I went back to my office.

After seating on my swivel chair, I can't help but to think about the contract Miss Hwang told me earlier. 'Girlfriend? She has a girlfriend? And why me out of all people?' I thought to myself.

Someone knocked at my door and went inside my office. "Hi, I'm Jung Eunbi, you can call me Eunha. I'm the co-CEO of HG Company. The CEO told me to tour you around the company since it's big" she told me.

"It's nice to meet you Miss Eunha-ssi" I told her. "Now lets go?" she asked. I nodded and followed her.

"Here's the lounge area" she told me. "Lets seat for a while" she added. I nodded and sat beside her. She ordered some coffee for us. "You're lucky because you're Sinb's secretary eonnie" she stated.

"Why?" I asked her. "She just broke up with someone a few days ago so we think that she won't be able to handle this company well" she said.

"I guess you're also familiar about the contract" she said. I nodded. "That kid is really desperate" she told me. "May I ask why?" I asked her.

"Eonnie, do you know the famous model Eunseo?" she asked me. I nodded. "She broke up with Sinb" she said. I just listened to her.

"They were in a relationship for 4 and a half years. Actually, Sinb already has plans for marrying her but last 3 days ago, she broke up with Sinb" she said. "Sinb was a mess that time" she added.

"So what's her plan?" I asked her. "Eonnie I'm sorry for Sinb's attitude towards you. We tried to stop her from adding that pretend girlfriend to her contract but she didn't listen" she said.

"She loves her that much huh?" I told her. She nodded and waved to someone. "Babe, come here" she called a tall woman who was ordering a coffee.

"Hi babe, oh who's this?" she asked. "She's Jung Yerin, the secretary of Sinb" Eunha introduced me to her. "Hi, I'm Kim Sojung, you can call me Sowon, I'm also the co-CEO of HG Company" she offered me a handshake. I gladly accept it.
