Another Member; This Party's Full of Quirks!

I walked into the guild by myself this morning since I woke up late. As I entered I saw Aqua using party tricks to entertain other adventurers. She turned around and looked at me before stopping.

"Kyoro, look! Don't you just love the new skill I acquired? It's a great addition to my already awesome set of powers." Aqua said arrogantly.

"Yup. It's lovely." I answered to entertain her as well.

Great. A pocket fountain... I'll never get 'thirsty'... heh.

That was bad.

They still won't give me cider. It's not even that alcoholic... I think, at least it wasn't when I stole it from bars. Maybe I just grabbed their juice. I don't know.

Me and Megumin sat on stools at the bar of the guild.

"I don't know what I'm doing." I said giving her my adventurers card. She stopped eating and looked at my card in confusion. "Since you're an assassin, you can only learn skills of along that class. Right now, you can only learn two. Go ahead and swipe on the one you want." Megumin informed.

"Hmm." I said looking at my two options. "Unfortunately, you cant learn [Explosion] with that class. 'Tis a shame." Megumin commented. "Would that even benefit me?" I asked.

Hm. Which one of these is yours, Kaguya?

Shadow Sneak. You can teleport into people's shadows. Plain and Simple.

Nice. Definitely picking that.

I swiped the skill on my card and watched as it glowed reddish orange before the opacity of the words increased.

"Whatchu pick?" Megumin asked with her mouthful, leaning over my shoulder. "Swallow your food." I responded nudging her face away. She did as asked before looking at my card. "Ah! [Shadow Sneak]... th-that sounds like something from an abyss... are you sure you're not a Crimson Demon?" Megumin asked with squinted eyes. "Yeah, I'm sure. My magic affinity is way too low." I answered. "Hmm~. I'm on to you..." Megumin replied pointing at her eyes and then my own.

"There you are." I heard someone say behind me. I turned around to see Darkness and another woman. "We couldn't finish our talk because you said you needed to retrieve a drunk party member." Darkness started taking a seat to my left. "Yeah, she's a hand-full. So, what's up?" I asked. "Shall we continue where we left off? I would like to join your party." Darkness answered. "Let me think about it." I said before stealing a frog leg from Megumin's plate. "Really?! You will?!" Darkness asked with enthusiasm. "Yeah. The more the merrier, I guess. But I still have to decide certain factors." I said feeling Megumin glare at the back of my head.

"Uh... who are you talking to, Darkness?" The other woman asked, slightly creeped out.
