"Having a dad like him, or not having one at all?"
She didn't say anything, she just stared at me
"I'm not sure what you think but, I think it's the second one" I paused before I continued
"Seven years after we moved here, from Italy, my parents got divorced. If you ask my mom what her greatest mistake was till now, do you know what she will say? Marrying that man"
I wanted to tell her everything that moment and I had to fight myself not to tell her. I didn't know what will happen to us if I tell her, and I didn't want anything bad to happen, so, I just kept it in. It wasn't just a mistake to my mom; it was something worse to all of us
She wiped my cheek and that when I realized that a tear had run down from my eyes. I put my head down and she hugged me

"Oh, ye of little loyalty, why would you send back things back when I sent it your way? Do you want be to be sad?" she asked
"I'm going to fling your hand so hard in the next three seconds if it's still around my shoulders" I told her but, she didn't do anything
"One" I started counting but, instead of removing it, she had it tighter

"Two" I said, and she smiled
