I halted as I walked through the entrance of the rooftop

What is she doing here?

I walked towards her. I was about to say something but, I realized she was sleeping. It wasn't noticeable from where I was standing at the rooftop entrance

I wasn't going to leave just because of someone, so I sat down beside her. I looked in front, staring at nothing, thinking of nothing, just staring at the air, and enjoying the feel of the cold breeze pushing against me

After a while, I turned to her and stared at her. Even though I didn't like it, I had to admit that she was beautiful. Not the kind of beauty bought along with make-up, she was a natural beauty. She isn't part of those girls that show off more than necessary of their skin just because they want to be noticeable and stand out. She doesn't dress in those type of clothes, but she also doesn't dress in degrading clothes. Simple but fashionable, normal but classy, that's the way she is.

Fortunately, I caught her head before it broke due to her not placing her head in one spot when sleeping

Seriously, why am I the one always saving this girl? I asked myself

Agitated, I tossed her head away from my hand, and it went backwards to the wall. I quickly caught it, again, and placed her silently in a position where her head won't be on a roller coaster

I went back to my initial position and was like that for like an hour or so, until her saw her slowly getting up

Her hand hit me while she stretched and she froze, slowly looking at what her hand contacted. I smiled internally when she jumped

"What are you doing here?" she asked me

Just as I was about to 'answer' her, she raised her hand in front of my face and,

"I take the question back, don't answer. I don't want to hear whatever you answer is" she said stopping me

I smiled, outwardly this time, but she didn't she see

"If you didn't want the answer, why bother asking" I told her

"Jerk" she said silently, but able to reach my ears

I turned around to look at her, but she obviously ignored me. She closed her eyes as she crossed her arms and leaned back against the chair

"Has anyone ever told you that you're annoying?" I asked her

"Has anyone ever told you that you're a jerk?" she asked back

"Along with much worse things, of course" I answered while looking at her

She opened her eyes and turned her head to look at me

"You take pleasure in the names you are being called, don't you?" she asked

I shrugged

"I usually do"

"Usually?"

"There's a new one that doesn't quite sit well with me"

"And what could that be?" she asked

I moved towards her, not close enough to make her breathe hitch, but close enough to make her uncomfortable that she will want to, either adjust her position or move, but she couldn't do either. Adjusting her position will make the distance between us shorter

"What do you think it is?" I asked her

She didn't answer

"Psychopath" I said
