Some people are different, very different. Yet, they work so well together. Like two puzzle pieces originating from two entirely different puzzles that fit perfectly together. Some people are just meant to be together, as friends, family or lovers. Neither can explain why, it's just feels good.

Two polar opposites, you and Jimin. Friends for god knows how long while living in entirely different worlds and only one thing in common.

Dance.

Besides that there really isn't anything you guys both like, besides some of your friends.

Jimin never voluntarily plays a video game while you barely put the game console down. Jimin likes going to parties and getting drunk while you would rather be dead than go to a party.

But every once in a while, Jimin sighs very deeply. Gathering all his love for you and manages to play a game for a couple of hours.

And even thought he usually has a million better things to do than gaming, in that moment there's nothing he'd rather do. Maybe it's because his heart flutters at the way your face light's up when he joins for a round or two, or the way you laugh, when he looses once again.

Maybe. But it's probably just because he knows that he gets to drag you to a party every once in a while as long as he keeps you happy.

Which you let him do, not gladly but at the end of the day he's there with you and that's what matters.

But unlike Jimin, you don't like to see your best friend enjoy himself. Not like that, with alchohol and drugs, with boys and girls that don't really care about him.

Oh how much you hate it. And whenever the elder manages to drag you out once again, or when you get a four AM call and you have to sneak out to go pick him up, he's usually shit faced drunk and high while you're stuck wishing he was sober.

You hate the question 'what happened last night?'

But you bite your tongue no matter how much you wish Jimin was sober when he kissed you.
