Number Five was angry. No, he was far from angry. He was every word that described the very feeling he felt towards his father at that very moment.
A week. That's how long she's been asleep. How long he's been without her.

His other siblings were angry too. They were confused as to why their father, (but not surprised) took their sister away from them one day. Confused why she didn't come back to them.

It was after a mission. The siblings boasting with energy after the intense bank robbery yet proud with how they all handled it and defeated the bag guys.

Five was excited to tell her all about it.
But when he entered her empty room, he was concerned and started looking around.

After Ben and Diego confirmed they haven't seen her either, it took the three of them to wonder to where their father was and ask about their M.I.A sister.

But Five remembers his words so clearly.

"Number Zero is currently in an Hypnotic sleep state. She over worked herself and won't wake up until she is ready to."

Five and his brothers all shared a confused look.

"What does that mean?" Five asked

Mr. Hargreaves sighed and looked up from his book,
"The meaning of what I told you is none of your concern. She will stay that way until she can prove the proper use of her power. You are not to bother her."

"Come now children, dinner is ready. The others are waiting." Diego smiles at the sight other their mother. Thought, as they followed the robotic woman, as they sat in their assigned seats at the long dinner table, the empty seat between Klaus and Ben, made the thought of his sleeping sister linger in the back of his mind as the bell chimes.

Across from him, Five looked at the empty chair as well, the sinking feeling in his stomach almost made him not hungry at the sight of the food on his plate in front of him. He missed looking up and seeing the red head in front of him.

Ben looked to his side, a sad look on his face as he didn't see the girl that usually sat beside him; instead, the chair remained tucked in under the table.

Empty.

Five sat at the table

Five sat at the table. Another dinner and another day without his best friend and the girl he unintentionally fell in love with.
The empty chair taunting him for not trying hard enough to fight for her to be here now.

But hopefully, with his plan in mind, it will bring her back.

His siblings were quiet. Diego played with his knife and the scratching on the wood annoyed Five to no doubt but he was focused. He wouldn't let it bother him.

Taking his own dinner knife, he decided it was time. He held the knife in his hand and slammed it down on the wood, causing the table to shake.

"I have a question." Five states

His father looks up at him, "knowledge is an admirable goal. But you all know the rules, no talking during meal time. You are interrupting Herr Carlson."

Five clenched his jaw, the burning urge to burst out in anger over threw him.
"Why can't we wake up June?" He asked

"She isn't ready. I've told you countless times. Now, stop interrupting, Number Five—"

"Fine. If you can't answer that question; then answer me this: I want to time travel."

"No."

"But I'm ready. See?" Five stood up, doing a jump from across the room and now stood near his father. The other siblings watch with anticipation as their brother stands up to the harsh man. He admits he's been practicing, clearly that wasn't enough to prove he could do what he wanted.

"A spatial jump is trivial when compared with the unknowns of time travel. One, is like sliding along thin ice, the other, is akin to descending blindly into the depths of freezing water, and reappearing as an acorn."

"I don't get it." Five said

"Hence, why you're not ready."

"I'm not afraid."

"Fear isn't the issue. The effects it might have in your body, even your mind, are far to unpredictable. Now, I forbid you to talk about this any longer."

That's when Five took matters into his own hands and ran out the door; only to never return back.

Never to return to see Juniper finally be released from her seep.
