"Jungkookie!" Trudging through the door of the dorm, Jimin called out to Jungkook.

But the maknae ignored him. It was as if he knew what the older singer wanted to talk to him about and he was doing everything in his power to postpone it... which was exactly what Jungkook was doing.

He had caught the stares of curiosity following his swift exit from the studio by Jimin. He knew the entire car ride home that, finally, the older singer would confront him. Tell him how disgusted he was... How they couldn't possibly be a thing in reality. Why was he such a child? Why couldn't he just accept the fact that Jimin would never see him as anything more than a friend?! Stupid...stupid idiot!

"Jungkook-" In the distance (although he was right next to the maknae) he heard Jimin call out again. His heart dropped momentarily as, when the older reached out, he found himself at once instinctively dodged his attempts at making contact. No... No not again! He didn't want to avoid him again....! Jungkook's heart beat frantically, his hands feeling clammy as the room slowly began to heat up.

Noticing the interaction, the other members looked on silently, but continued their small, busying tasks around the dorm, "-Jungkook can we talk-"
"-Jimin can you just leave me alone?!" he suddenly snapped, seeming to surprise himself at the harsh tone and disrespectful informality of his words. The older singer reeled back in surprise, his eyes widening in shock.
"Just-you're wrong ok? What you thought - that's not it! Just leave me be!" The contemporary dancer was still frozen in one space. Even as the bedroom door to Jungkook's room slammed shut and his fellow members careered over to him, demanding to know what Jungkook was referring to, he still did not move.

The older gritted his teeth and ignored them, he too finally storming into his room in anger, letting the door slam shut with a heavy thud. Why was he such an idiot?! He fumed.

Yet in his own room, Jungkook had buried himself under his douvet and sobbed. Why was he always so confused? Why did he constantly keep contradicting himself!? Jimin probably hated him by now! His mind drew back to when they had kissed... Or rather when he had kissed Jimin... And in an instant he was thrown into a further rage. Jimin knew his intentions... He knew and the older's attempts to converse with him were only to give Jungkook his rejection...

How could Jimin not hate him? Who would be comfortable knowing another group member liked them when they did not like them back?

Instead, Jimin did not hate Jungkook. He merely understood. And now he knew, with a flickering heart and a buzzed feeling growing across his chest... That he wasn't going to give up.

"Jimin-hyung please... Please... just please leave me alone!" A frantic begging echoed down the hall, followed by the hurried pace of a figure stalking his way back to his hotel room as he fled from the recent confrontation.

Prising open the door of his own room, Jin sighed with frustration - yet also with mild saddness - as the door opposite him was harshly slammed in Jimin's face. The singer slumped to the floor in defeat outside Jungkook's room. "What happened?" he asked, feeling a rise of saddness as the younger singer put his head between his knees and sighed deeply.
"I just... I guess I just hit a nerve." he mumbled, his fingers picking at the corridor's carpet absentmindfully.

But something gave the eldest member the idea both maknae and Jimin were keeping something from the others. He had felt that ever since he had stumbled upon them both in the living room, sleep deprived and unwilling to answer why they had arrived home so late. He just hoped it would sort itself out soon...
After a moment of silently watching his younger brother sit in pitiful silence, Seokjin sighed with relief as Taehyung opened his door and approached his best friend, crouching beside him and engulfing him in a bear hug.
