"Wait till they're not looking and make a dash for it!" Jin hissed, nervously peering out of the glass doors at the parked car outside.
Although no staff had emerged yet, they both knew it was only five minutes until the time Taehyung had given to them as his finishing time.

"No that'll be too risky! Let's just go out the back-"
"-Taehyung." The younger looked at the older expectantly as a stern, yet still affectionate voice rose his way, "We don't know the layout if this building... We almost got lost finding the waitng room! How do you expect us to find a backdoor?" Tae paused in comical thought... Seokjin had a point... Getting lost might cost them precious coffee drinking time...

Glancing out at the stationary car, he frowned. He wouldn't forgive himself easily if they happened to get caught escaping. It seemed a little embarassing to get stopped mid flight... If he was going to get caught (which he knew was inevitable), surely it was better they were found having actually achieved their aim of coffee?

"Right." he muttered, clenching his fists tightly and gearing himself up in excitement, "On three, we make a run for it. Ready?" He glanced towards Jin who nodded frantically, "Okay!

Three... Two... One... GO !"

"I can't believe you convinced me to run away from our staff." Seokjin huffed in amusement as they barrelled into the nearest coffee shop they could find and comically doubled over, hauling in large gasps of air from running so swiftly past the unsuspecting parked car.
"It's not as if you've never broken the rules... " Taehyung smirked, his eyes flickering up towards Jin's fringe at the long distant memory. He recieved a set of raised eyebrows in response.

They impatiently waited in the long line for coffee, each singer bouncing on the balls of their feet as the queue shuffled inch by inch towards the counter. Finally recieving their orders, the two then clustered at the furthest table to the large open windows that lined the street. They couldn't afford to be caught now...

An affectionate smile grew across the eldest's face as taking a sip from his own drink, he noticed the name 'Vante' scrawled across his brother's takeaway cup. But this smile faded as, having both settled into a small booth at the back of the shop, Taehyung's face suddenly fell. Crap.
"Tae, what's the matter?"
But as if he'd not realised his expression had changed, the younger singer suddenly shook his head and forced a smile onto his face.

"Ah, just post audition nerves." he replied, taking a long sip of coffee, "Hows life then these days?" he grinned.
"Tae we spend every waking hour and every sleeping hour in the same space...what is the point of even asking me that?"
The younger shrugged, figeting with his fingers absentmindedly, "I just was making conversation... as people do when they get coffee... I-I-havent got coffee with any friend outside the group in six months and I guess I was trying to feel..." he sighed, his words faltering.

Jin's heart warmed. Bless him. "Normal?" Seokjin asked, smiling. His little brother nodded slowly, shrugging again and sheepishly looking into his coffee cup, "Taehyung do you even know what normal is?" Another shrug and a shake of a head followed, "Exactly!" The young singer faltered. Exactly? "Tae, normal doesnt have one definition-there isn't one set path that makes any one person normal. Being an Idol doesn't make you abnormal-"

"-No I know its just...!" Tae sighed, glancing out of the window as he thought his eye had caught the familiar face of staff, "...Its just... Here we both are, sitting in a coffee shop that we had to secretly run to without being seen by staff, unable to even have a meaningful conversation because we spend all hours with each other and tell everyone everything, and now, once staff catch up to us we're going to be told off simply for wanting to have coffee in a public space."
