"Don't cheat in your test, please eat, remember training is at one and I can't pick you up so someone else will-!!"
"-alright hyung just shut it! You are not my mother!" Jungkook yelled affectionately behind him at the young man hanging out of the car window as he retreated into the school building. He ignored the mix of confused stares as his voice rose across the school grounds, huffing at the judgemental expressions with little care. They were just jealous Jinnie-hyung was his hyung...

"I might as well be!" he heard faintly in response and he chuckled. The little bastard.

He didn't mind Jin occasionally driving him to school - when he ever managed to go, of course. He knew it gave the eldest a reason to use his car, particularly since they were driven around by staff most days, and he guessed it gave him some sort of purpose to their free mornings... But honestly, sometimes Jungkook didn't think he could handle much more embarrassment. He had enough grief from those who did not appreciate his membership in BTS. They didn't need more fuel for their criticism.

First day back at school... And it didn't quite feel like a day at school. He'd missed the first official week and technically had not meant to attend for another few days. But he'd wanted to take one of his class tests in the actual classroom for once and given he'd had a free morning, he'd asked their eldest if he'd drive him in.
Although the test wasn't the only reason he'd agreed to turn up at school that day. He needed to get out of the dorm.

As he situated himself calmly at the back of the room, he allowed his mind to wander into the mess he was yet to resolve. There were a few reasons why he had needed to escape. Firstly, his affections for Jimin were only growing stronger but they were still yet to resolve some of their tension.  Jungkook telling Yoongi was still something Jimin had yet to fully forgive him for, in addition to the older being frustrated that the maknae refused to clear the air up about Sae-mi.

And yet, whilst they had not spent a similar moment together since the night of their argument, he desperately yearned for a time where they did not have time restrictions, nor the fear of others walking in. Where he could be with Jimin, alone.
Any longer waiting for their tense relations to improve, and Jungkook felt his desires might just surpass his fears of Namjoon finding out.

That was another reason he'd wanted to escape. The Sae-mi situation. Namjoon, Hosoek and Seokjin were still convinced (or so he hoped) that that night in the hotel had been with the make-up artist. They had also been certain Jungkook and Jimin's conflict had centered around such an incident. He'd recieved several firm reminders of his actions since the admittance and each time his guilt only grew more heavy.

And now, since seeming to 'refind friendship' after perhaps the worst row any of them had witnessed within their dorm, such a conflict seemed to dissipate. They could see there was still obvious tension in some areas, but the two were no longer at each others throats... This had brought a lot of questions from his three hyungs who demanded the truth of their fighting. But Jungkook couldn't tell them. Just like he couldn't admit he and Sae-mi had been a brutal lie...

Not until both he and Jimin had found enough confidence to admit their own truth. All in all therefore, the house was wrapped up in such complex confusion that he had just needed to hide away from it all.

The final reason, was Hobi. The maknae was convinced he had missed something regarding his hyung, that seemed to coincidentally tie in to the entire situation. He seemed a little more withdrawn beside Jungkook, his words more stern and frank, should he even decide to say anything to him.
But the youngster wasn't quite sure what he had done. In any case, the newfound stiffness scared him and he'd enthusiastically jumped at the opportunity to escape even for a few hours.
