The next couple of weeks went by smoothly for Beck and Jade, which was definitely a good thing.

The couple were laying in Jade's bed, while Beck allowed her to lay her head on his chest, his fingers running through her hair as they always did.

"If I died tomorrow," Jade then spoke, causing Beck to look down at her. "What would you do?"

Beck's eyebrows furrowed. "What kind of question is that?"

"Just answer it. What would you do if I died tomorrow?"

"Die, as in just randomly pass away?" He questioned her. "Or what?"

She shrugged. "Let's say I...overdose again. But this time, I don't make it. What would you do?"

"I would scream," he said. "Then cry. And maybe even try to kill myself to be with you."

She looked up at him, frowning. "You wouldn't."

"Yes I would," he stated softly. "If you're not here, then why should I still be here?"

"You could move on," she said quietly. "Find another woman to spend the rest of your life with. A woman that you love, and that you will propose to. Have kids with. Live happily with, forever."

Beck became confused. "Is this your way of breaking up with me?"

She chuckled, shaking her head. "I'm not breaking up with you. I'm just saying that, if I do die tomorrow, you should move on with the rest of your life and be happy. Don't grieve over me. Don't cry over me. That's all I ask."

"Babe, you're scaring me."

"I want a funeral where everyone can wear whatever the hell they want," she continued, ignoring him. "If someone wants to wear a bright yellow dress, then they can. They should be able to wear whatever they want to wear."

"Jade..."

"I don't want to be buried, either," she stated. "I want to be cremated. Being dead under the ground with a whole bunch of bugs and dirt is gross."

"We shouldn't be talking about death right now," Beck swallowed thickly. "You're only nineteen."

"That's just it," she said, sighing heavily. "What if I die tomorrow? I want you to know what I want to do for my funeral. And I want to know that you'll move on when- if, I die."

Beck caught her slip up and grabbed her shoulders, making her sit up and face him.

"Are you planning on killing yourself tomorrow?" He asked, his eyes wide and worried.

Her teeth sank into her lower lip nervously, playing with her fingers as she didn't answer.

"No," he said harshly. "You are not going to do this, do you understand me? Absolutely not."

"I-I didn't say I was going to," she sighed. "I just... I don't know."

"Jade, there are people here who love you," he said, looking into her eyes as his hands gripped her shoulders firmly. "I love you. Cat loves you. If you go through with this, it just proves you're being selfish."

"I'm not being selfish!" She yelled, her eyes beginning to burn with unshed tears. "I just don't want to be here anymore! The bad things never go away, they're never going to go away! I-I can't keep going...I'm trying, Beck. I really am. But I can't do this anymore."

"Stop it," he scowled. "Stop it right now. You're not doing this. We'll get you help, okay? I'll help you with everything. I know a hospital over- "

"You want to put me in a mental hospital?" She hissed, pushing him away from her. "I'm not crazy!"

"Being in a hospital doesn't mean you're crazy, Jade," he told her calmly. "Its to get you help. Help to make the bad things go away. You want them to go away, right?"

She nodded. "I-I want them to go away, but I don't want to be in a mental hospital. Don't send me there. Please."

"Jade, it will help you."

"No!" She yelled again angrily. "I am not crazy! I don't need any help! My mental health is fine!"

"No, your mental health is not fine," he placed a hand on her cheek, his thumb stroking away the tears beginning to fall. "Your mental health is more important than anything, alright? I'm going to get you help, you need it."

"No," she shook her head. "You can't."

"I have to. I can't stand seeing you in pain like this any longer." He grabbed his phone, starting to dial a number.

"If you send me there," she started, her voice shaking. "I will never forgive you. Ever."

He stopped his actions.

"I just want to help you," he whispered. "That's all I want to do. To get you help."

"I don't need any help," she repeated firmly. "I will be fine. I won't hurt myself, I promise. Just don't send me there. Please, Beck."

Beck sighed, setting his phone back down and running his fingers through his hair. "I swear to god Jade, if you hurt yourself- "

"I won't," she interrupted. "I won't hurt myself. I swear it."

"I love you, you know that right?" He questioned as he pulled her to him.

She nodded, silent tears still streaming down her face. "I know. I love you too."

But she knew that no matter how hard she tried, she wouldn't be able to make it another day.

Don't be angry, you guys. I gave you some fluff beforehand.

Not many chapters left to go. And I already have an idea on an ending...but I don't think any of you are going to like it.

But on a happier note, we hit 1k reads! Thank you all so much!!!

Don't forget to comment your thoughts! Will Jade try to hurt herself? Or will she keep her promise?

Until next time!
