The next few weeks were awful.
It had now been two months that Beck and Jade had been broken up, and Beck so desperately wanted one last chance to make it up to her.
Every day that went by was another day he was miserable, because Jade wasn't with him.
So he decided to do something about it.
The Canadian grabbed his jacket and keys, heading out to his car and driving his way to Jade's apartment, where he assumed she would be.
He knocked up on her door, preparing for the door to open up and be slammed in his face.
But he would just keep knocking until she let him in.
And sure enough, as soon as Jade opened the door, she slammed it right in his face.
Beck rolled his eyes and knocked again.
"I'm not leaving until you let me in," Beck called loudly, so that Jade could hear him.
The goth opened the door again, smiling sarcastically as she moved aside so he could come inside.
He furrowed his brows but stepped inside nonetheless, surprised that she actually let him in her apartment.
"Now leave," she demanded.
"What- "
"You said you're not leaving until I let you in," she reminded him, crossing her arms over her chest, blue eyes narrowed at him. "I let you in, so now leave."
He ignored her smart logic. "Jade, all I want to do is talk. Please."
"You are talking."
"Jade, just stop with the smart-mouth comments for once! I want to talk about what happened- "
"When you lied to me," she said, refusing to start crying again. "For four months."
"I said I was sorry- "
She nodded. "You did. But sorry doesn't change a single thing. And honestly, I don't even think you mean it."
"I do mean it, Jade!" He exclaimed, his hands reaching for her shoulders so he could stare down at her and info her eyes. "I am so, so sorry! I have been absolutely miserable these past few months and I was such an idiot to hurt you like this!"
She felt her eyes brim with tears, and she wanted him more than anything.
But she wouldn't let him hurt her again.
"I can't do this right now," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "Please leave."
"Jade, please," he begged, hooking a finger under her chin, forcing her to look into his eyes. "Please. I am sorry. So, so sorry. And I will say it as many times as you want me to."
She pulled away from him and her voice cracked as she responded, "you need to leave, Beck. Now."
"No, Jade," he huffed, becoming more and more frustrated. "Not until you forgive me."
"Forgive you?" She chuckled in false amusement. "It's funny how you think that I would ever forgive you."
His heart dropped in his chest.
"Jade," he whispered. "Please."
"Leave," she said, her tone becoming louder and upset.
He stared at her with tears threatening to stream down his cheeks, and she averted her gaze, not able to look at him anymore.
"I need you," he whispered, seconds away from breaking down into sobs.
"And I needed you," she replied just as softly. "But not anymore."
She wanted him back, she really damn did.
But he broke her first, and she wasn't going to let him break her again.
She was now fragile, all because of him.
When Beck finally realized that Jade wasn't going to forgive him, or at least talk to him, he sighed shakily and left her apartment, shutting the door behind him as Jade stared forward, tears already beginning to fall down her face.
She stepped backwards and her back hit the door, and she slid down it, pulling her knees to her chest and wrapping her arms around them.
And she allowed the sobs to fall from her lips one again.

Feel free to comment your thoughts! Do you think Jade should forgive Beck? Or not?
Until next time!
