"Soobin..."

"Oh, you two know each other?"

Sunwoo's boyfriend didn't answer. Instead, he stepped forward, hands extended about to reach for Soobin's arm. "Soobin, Iㅡ"

"GET AWAY FROM ME!"

The three other males widened their eyes when Soobin suddenly screamed. A few pair of eyes darted towards them, but Yeonjun didn't care. His bunny was scared and he didn't know what caused it.

"Soobin, I can explainㅡ"

"No! Just stay away! Don't come c-closer!" Soobin hiccuped, his eyes were closed shut and he shrinked behind Yeonjun. The azurette caught on with what was happening and wrapped and arm around Soobin's shoulders protectively.

He didn't dare to say anything. Not until he felt Soobin tremble in his grasp. He looked at Soobin with concerned eyes before darting them towards the boyfriend, his soft gaze turning into a sharp one.

"What. The. Fuck. Did you do?" Yeonjun growled, glaring down at the brunette. "Haknyeon, what is going on?" Sunwoo asked, staring at his boyfriend.

Haknyeon gulped, his lips parted to answer but no words came out. Yeonjun became worried when soft sobs were heard. "Bunny? Hey, it's okay. Please don't cry, what's wrong hm?"

Yeonjun turned Soobin to face him, cupping his face and wiping away his overflowing tears. "Oh, Soobin..." Yeonjun pulled Soobin closer, embracing him into a hug.

Haknyeon stared at the scene with guilty eyes. He chewed on his bottom lip, waiting for Yeonjun or Soobin to speak up.

"I guess you have some explaining to do. To both Soobin and Sunwoo," Yeonjun said sternly. Haknyeon nodded, looking down. "But Soobin isn't ready for that yet."

"I know, but this is the only chance I'll get to explain. Please, please, make Soobin listen to me."

Yeonjun was still skeptical, but seeing how Haknyeon pleaded genuinely made him think again. "Okay, I'll get him to calm down and speak to me. If he wants to talk then I'll message Sunwoo. Still got my number, right?"

Sunwoo nodded, his expression was a mixture of confusion and anger. Both probably because of his boyfriend. "In the meantime, I'll let you explain to Sunwoo. He looks lost."

Yeonjun pulled Soobin away from the couple. Towards a bench to be exact. Yeonjun sat the younger down. He was still sobbing uncontrollably and all Yeonjun could do was was rub his back comfortingly.

"I-I'm sorryㅡ"

"Don't apologize for something you didn't do wrong, Soobin. Cry all you want, I'll listen later."

And that's what Soobin did. He cried for another five solid minutes before calming down. His sobs were now soft sniffles as he wiped his tears away. "Wanna explain now?" Yeonjun asked, lowkey getting frustrated.

Sure, he was worried, but Soobin just looked like that kind of guy who could push you around like an alpha dog. Turns out he's just a lowly omega who weeps at everything. What a waste of body, he can be the bully if he ever wanted.

Soobin sighed, but nodded nevertheless. "That was Ju Haknyeon, a senior in high school, and my first guy crush."

Yeonjun widened his eyes. Haknyeonㅡ Soobin's ex-crushㅡwas in a relationship with SunwooㅡYeonjun's ex-crush.

Such a small world we live in.

"He was also the one who bullied me. Calling me worthless, pathetic, a sin, a demonㅡ I dont remember all but I know all of them hurt," Soobin looked down at his hands. "He was the one who told me that being gay means you are damned eternity in hell, so the fact that he's now in a relationship withㅡ withㅡ with a guy, just made no sense!"

Yeonjun nodded. "Do you want some explanation, or you still can't stand him?" Yeonjun asked, pulling Soobin closer and resting the boranette's head on his own chest. He was surprised at his own actions to be honest. He never knew he had that motherly instinct inside him.

"I'm still scared of him, but I want to listen," Soobin whispered, burying his face in Yeonjun's chest. It was oddly warm and calming, as if it was telling "everything's gonna be alright".

"Then speak to him. Is that okay with you?" Yeonjun fished out his phone, getting ready to call Sunwoo.

Soobin nodded, feeling his heartbeat slowly increase.
