A/N: Hello! I promise I'm writing as fast as I can. So far I haven't really planned on adding any plot, I'm just writing pure fluff with no real direction. I don't know if I will add a plot line later... I'll just go where the story takes me I guess.

(Also can we talk about the horrible violin emoji - 🎻🎻🎻 why is the bow so short?)

//one and a half hours later//

The movie was taking a turn for the worse.

The plot line initially had not been perhaps the most exciting, but things had been seeming to be coming to a nice close.

It had started out with a male wizard seeing a female dragon in the luscious wilderness. Something generic - they ended up falling in love - and it had seemed that they would be spending the rest of their lives together until something terrible happened.

Brett and Eddy were watching with wide eyes, the bit of remaining hotpot and bubble tea long forgotten, getting cold on the table. If either of them had been paying attention, one of them would have said something about the hotpot being "coldpot" or some crappy dad joke like that. The kind that made editor-san joke about resigning. But right now dad jokes were the furthest from their minds.

You see, in the movie, dragons were hunted creatures. Especially the blue ones, which was what Lia, the dragon the wizard fell in love with, was. A gorgeous blue coat of scales that shimmered in the sun, sparkling off the reflection of water and almost anything shiny. Breathtaking.

Now of course, because Lia was so rare and beautiful, these evil wizards wanted her even more.

They had devised a few plans to get her that had failed horribly, but after gaining the help of a much needed ally, they finally had the tools they needed.

It had, for quite some time, seemed that Lia and the wizard, Tyler, would be able to escape together.

The several wizards had crafted a serious plan. They built a huge metal chain net, attached to a massive ship, giving the wizards full access to both the sea and land. If Lia tried to escape by flying over the ocean they could still stop her.

It's so twisted! Why would anyone do anything like this? Brett thought angrily, his fists clenching on the couch. Despite the fact that it was only a movie, he still felt it in his heart. Maybe it was because the first parts of the movie had set the mental image that Lia and Tyler would be able to get away together. He hadn't been mentally prepared for something like this.

Plots twists were so trippy and confusing.

The movie ended quite abruptly - Lia was eventually captured and tortured, Tyler was left standing at the edge of the water, with a sorrowful [side note: "srsly Jan Jan? Who the hell uses SORROWFUL?!" (remember??)] and longing expression on his face.

The screen went black.

And the movie was already over.

Brett was still trying to process everything. He could barely feel the soft couch beneath him. The only feeling in his body was the cold one, settling deep in his stomach. He felt numb. He wasn't even blinking.

His sleep deprived eyes were wide and shook, the rest of his face displaying no emotion but sorrow and shock. Only well displayed movies like that one could ever leave him like this. It was very rare.

The credits were rolling on the screen silently. There was no background music, or even any noise, except for the quiet sobbing that came every few seconds.

Wait...

Brett knew that crying. He heard it every time they watched a movie that had even a hint of any sadness. Eddy wasn't exactly known to keep his emotions bottled up inside him whenever a movie made him feel mournful.

He shoved his own feelings aside, turned slightly, and pulled Eddy into his arms. Brett could feel Eddy's body vibrating against his chest, the crying muffled by the fabric of his shirt.

At times like this, they needed each other.

Brett slowly pet Eddy's back, his own tears threatening to spill over. No. Keep it together, Brett told himself sternly. If he were to start weeping as well Eddy would never stop. He had learnt that lesson about 8 years back. They had both been crying in each other's embrace for hours, and it was impossible to go to sleep after that.

Brett had failed his music theory exam at Uni the next day.

Even though the threat of a nerve wracking exam did not apply to Brett now, it would not be a good idea to film YouTube videos while extremely tired. Not only would he not be able to concentrate, the fans would almost definitely notice and start to worry. He couldn't let that happen.

So he sat there silently while Eddy slowly cried himself out. The muffled sobs slowly melted away until Eddy's body only vibrated a few times a minute.

Brett carefully brought Eddy slightly closer to him, giving the still sniffling man someone to lean on.

"Thank you." Eddy's voice was so soft, but Brett could hear him. After all, his head was just below Brett's ear.

"No need," Brett said in a soothing voice, his arms still around the taller violinist. "Do you want to talk about what happened in the movie?"

Eddy was quiet for a few moments. "I think... I just want to go to sleep. We can talk in the morning." A tiny yawn slipped out.

Brett nodded silently. He stood up, and clasped his hands around Eddy's to help him up. Eddy slowly got up, yawning again as he did. There were still dried tears around his sleepy eyes.

The older violinist walked with the other to the latter's room, stopping next to his bed. "You have to brush your teeth..." Brett said hesitantly, knowing all Eddy wanted to do was collapse on the bed right in front of him.

Eddy gave a slight groan, and summoning all of the energy he could, stormed off heavily in the direction of the bathroom.
