//sorry I just had to put that picture of Eddy sleeping haH omg//

//in the morning//

Brett wasn't entirely sure how he managed to get back to his bed in one piece, but there he was, so he assumed all must have gone well.

He squinted up at the ceiling, the rays from the sun peeking through the blinds of the window. He turned his head to the right, feeling around for his glasses.

His right hand curled around them and brought them up to his face.

There. Now he could see clearly.

Brett's head spun a little as he sat up abruptly, but it faded after a few seconds. He stayed still as he attempted to hear if Eddy was already up and moving around, but the only sound was some birds chirping. Everything else was silent.

He looked at the clock.

10:30 AM.

Wow, really? Brett thought, confused. I usually wake up earlier...

He wasn't surprised that Eddy wasn't awake yet though.

Getting out of bed, Brett made his way to the living room, yawning slightly. He noticed the hotpot and bubble tea containers from the night before still on the coffee table. After throwing them in the trash, he decided to make his morning coffee. He needed that right now.

Making coffee was something that almost came naturally to him, after doing it almost every morning for years and years. Since Brett always got up first whenever he and Eddy stayed together, he had more experience in working the coffee machine.

{I have no idea how to make coffee so just pretend Brett makes coffee for him and Eddy}

As he got closer to Eddy's room, Brett's ears began to pick up on the snores.

The sound of snoring only got louder as Brett slowly walked into Eddy's room, carefully holding a cup full of very warm coffee. He had made sure to put some milk in it, the way they both liked to drink it.

Eddy was lying on his side, facing Brett, so Brett could see Eddy's open mouth.

It was a wonder some cockroach didn't walk in there at night.

Ew. He wrinkled his nose at the thought. That had given him a mental image he did not need.

Setting the coffee on Eddy's nightstand (the one on the other side of the bed) - next to his golden framed glasses - he gently shook the sleeping man's shoulder. This, of course, did nothing.

He was known to be a heavy (and loud) sleeper.

Brett thought of ripping the covers off, but that was a bit too harsh and he couldn't bring himself to do it. Just staring at Eddy's peaceful face, he felt this urge to just leave him. It was only 10:45...they didn't have to work right away.

He picked up the coffee cup he had placed on the nightstand and walked back out of the room.

Returning to the kitchen, Brett took out one of those coffee thermoses and transferred Eddy's coffee into it. This way, it would still be hot whenever the sleeping man finally woke up.

They had filmed a lot yesterday, probably 4 or 5 videos, so today was more of a planning day, or a relaxing one. After all, it was Saturday. The weekend was finally here! And so was one of Brett's favorite mangas.

It updated every Saturday, and the PLOT. The DRAWING skills. The amazing PERSONALITIES of the characters!

He was already starting to feel giddy just thinking about it.

Grabbing his phone and laptop, Brett went to plop himself down on the couch, bringing his coffee with him (though he didn't know why he did, he would almost definitely completely forget about it once he started reading the manga).

//some hours later//

Brett snapped back to reality when he heard footsteps echoing in the room next to him. Where had the time gone? It was already noon!

Of course, Brett had gotten distracted with all the mangas. He had even started to binge-read one he had never heard of before, and it was LONG.

The footsteps got louder and closer, so he turned his head to watch as a well-slept Eddy wandered into the living room.

"Hey look, Sleeping Beauty finally woke up!" Brett joked.

Eddy glared slightly, but he couldn't stop the teeny smile that showed on his face. He yawned a bit, but perked up as his eyes landed on Brett's coffee. "Can I have that?" He asked hopefully.

Brett followed Eddy's eyes.

Oops.

Of course he had forgotten all about the coffee.

Brett snatched up the cup and declared, "No, it's mine, but yours is in the kitchen."

Eddy nodded, but he stepped closer and peeked at Brett's laptop. "More mangas, huh? I don't understand how you read so many at once. My brain can't keep all the stories straight!"

Brett just stuck out his tongue like a five-year-old getting more scoops of ice cream than their sibling, and shut his computer.

//in the afternoon//

After practicing for some time and planning for a few videos, both the boys decided it was time to have fun. And what better way to do that than playing Super Smash Bros?

Brett sat on the couch, controller already in hand, watching Eddy set up the console. They'd done it so many times they didn't need to think. However, it had been too long since they had played this game, too long being a few weeks. To say Brett was excited would be an understatement. He was going to pulverize Eddy.

Or so he thought.

Brett watched in amazement as Eddy won game after game. Since when had he gotten this good?! Eventually, Brett managed to get in a few wins of his own, but it was rare. His face was clenched in concentration, thumbs flipping away at the buttons on the controller, with only one goal in mind. Win.

The surrounding environment seemed to fade into the background. It was only him and the TV screen. A red hazy storm took over his mind. Just. Push. Him. OFF.

"Woah, bro! Calm down, you okay? You won, you can stop now."

A/N: I'm scared you guys will find this chapter boring. I promise to add more of the best friend/bromance fluff in the next chapter.
