I'm so proud. I made this meme myself on an Adobe app I found. Also, I'm sorry for the wait. I played and finished the trilogy, completing the 3rd for the very first time, because why the hell not? I needed some references. My bad. I think I'm done with this 5-parter. I've been working on some femshep x Garrus stories in another book because I love her so much and grew to love the default face she has in the 3rd. I'll have you know that I haven't played with MaleShep except for the first game because I can't get over how monotonous his voice is compared to femshep's. I wish there was more inflection. Anyway, enjoy.

Shepard sat anxiously in the waiting room, joined by Joker and Sidonis. His head hurt from all the tears he held back, but he couldn't cry. Crying would mean that he was expecting Garrus to die, and he couldn't think like that.
Joker bumped his shoulder. "I'm sure he'll be alright, Shepard. Turian's are sturdy."
"He took a missile to the face, Joker. I don't..." Shepard cleared his throat. "That's a little more serious than a bullet."
"Yeah...but...ugh, fuck, I don't know how to comfort people. Just...maybe the stick in his ass counteracted the rocket."
Shepard snorted, rubbing his watery eyes. "That's really fucked up, Joker."
Joker grinned slightly. "Yeah, my bad."
Sidonis sighed, standing up. "I'm going to get a drink. Want anything, Shepard?"
"Um...a water, please."
Sidonis nodded, leaving the small room.
Suddenly, Shepard couldn't hold his tears back. His eyes welled up before he started crying quietly, burying his face in his arms that rested on his knees.
Joker awkwardly patted his back. "Shepard, what are you thinking about?"
"What if I never get to tell him?"
"Tell him what?"
"That I-" He choked up.
Sidonis came back, sitting at his side.
"...I love him. He may be a smug, cocky bastard, but he's my best friend. I've only just got him back and now..."
Neither of the men knew how to comfort him, so they sat on either side of him, being quietly supportive.
The doors opened and a doctor stepped out. He looked around until he saw Shepard, quietly stepping over to him. "Are you (M/n) Shepard?"
Shepard sat up quickly, wiping his eyes. "Yes."
The doctor took a deep breath. "The doctors did everything they could..."
Shepard lowered his eyes to the floor, eyes filling with tears.
"-and Spectre Vakarian is going to be fine."
Shepard's head shot up. "Wha-"
Dr. Chakwas shouldered past the doctor, glaring at him. "I've told you not to deliver news like that." She turned back to Shepard, smiling gently. "Garrus is fine, Shepard. The surgery went wonderfully. Come see him. He's just woken up." She led him back to his room, and busied herself with checking up on Garrus and the machines surrounding the bed. Garrus was sat up in bed, a bandage covering half of his face.
"Garrus..."
The Turian fluttered his left mandible, eyes drowsily watching him. "Give it to me straight, Shepard. No one would give me a mirror. How bad is it?"
Shepard smiled tiredly, scrubbing his eyes and moving over to sit at his side. "Hell, Garrus, you were always ugly. Slap a little face paint on there and no one will see a difference."
