Ch 5
"Oh gosh, poor kid!" Hoseok exclaimed. He sipped his mug of coffee and put a hand over the sofa. Jimin had once again been retelling his husband the events of the 'magnificent' dinner.
Jimin was disappointed his husband hadn't found the whole ordeal absolutely hilarious. He had chuckled at the beginning, but had immediately stopped himself, and even looked concerned for the rest of the story.
"It's good that you talked to him. I'm sure he needed you and is extremely thankful." Hobi said.
Jimin smiled. "Yeah, it actually felt good. Being there for someone. Telling them it'll be okay. Doing what I wished someone had done for me." Hoseok smiled, he set his cup down and shifted forward, turning to lay his head on Jimin's chest and sliding down. Jimin put his arm over Hobi and used his free hand to turn on the tv.
He was distracted from their show when his phone buzzed loudly. He glanced at the lit up screen
New message from father zeusಠ_ʖಠ:
Meet me…..
Jimin started to sit up, but quickly noticed that hoseok had fallen asleep on his chest. He smiled and layed back down, reaching his hand to grab his phone. Hoseok groaned at the movement, making Jimin chuckle. He patted hobi's head, and once he was sure the older had drifted back to sleep, he opened his phone.
Father zeusಠ_ʖಠ
Meet me in my office tomorrow, as soon as possible. It's urgent.
What does he want now? Jimin thought. It had been a week since the dinner. His father had not acknowledged the incident the whole time, and he had been informed by his mother that the meals have been exceptionally quite the past few days. Now his father finally wants to talk to him and says that it's urgent. Jimin wonders what in the hell could it be about, since the older man had almost seemed to be ignoring the younger one. All good things come to an end, huh?
Jimin typed in a quick reply and set down the phone. Smiling as his hobi snuggled farther up the couch to lay his head in the crook of Jimin's neck, who continued to stroke his chestnut brown hair.

The soon as possible hadn't come as soon as Jimin had expected, although Jimin himself didn't put any effort into trying to meet his father, the day had been surprisingly busy. Either Jimin had to take care of a disruption in some department, brief the new employees, or greet the new interns -who very conveniently had been asked to show up just as his schedule almost cleared up- or His father was busy with board meetings, signings and other buisness man -y stuff.
By the time both of them were free, and the CEO had finally returned to the office, it was night, and almost time to go home.
Jimin knocked on the office door, and was asked to come in by the familiar gruff voice. When he entered to room, his father was standing behind his desk, back towards the door and staring out the huge glass window. Something he had seen a lot of movies, told him that this conversation could either go really well, or really bad.
"You wanted to talk to me dad?"
"Aah yes Jimin. Come, sit down."
Jimin settled behind the large desk with a confused expression. Before he could ask what this was about, his father started speaking.
"Jimin, as you know our dinner arrangement with the Jeons didn't go as well as we hoped." He said. Jimin bit his lip to stop himself from making a sarcastic remark. The older man continued.
"I had several talks with Mr. Jeon about the situation. The situation was definitely …. unfortunate," Jimin's jaw tightened. "But it can't be helped. We agreed that this partnership was too good an opportunity, to just give up on. But you see Jimin," he suddenly turned, now looking right at him.
"We are old school men. We form bonds, not sign simple contracts."
Jimin's forehead creased further. "I'm.. not sure where you're going with this.."
"I told him about you."
(╥﹏╥)
