Mikey hadn't slept in his own bed in days. He couldn't bring himself to leave his big brothers room. Donnie had called April and Casey to let them know that Raphael was most likely, gone. The red head had been down at the Lair after school everyday to sit with the brothers. Casey was on his way home this weekend, and they would have a traditional funeral for a warrior to honor Raphael. Leo knocked on the hotheads door and opened it slowly. He felt his stomach drop as he looked at all the posters on the walls. He looked over at the bed where Mikey was laying down, wrapped up in the tiger sheet, smelling it.

"Mikey?" Leo whispered. Mikey looked over, the blanket still up to his nose.

"It still smells like him." Mikey sniffled.

"You need to come eat something." Leo sighed.

"No, I'm good. I just wanna stay in here for a little while longer. I'm not ready to leave."

"Mikey......"

"No, Leo!" The youngest snapped. Leo backed up. He saw Mikey break down in tears for the umpteenth time that day. He walked over and sat down on the bed next to his brother.

"Raph wouldn't want you to sit around like this. He would want us to move on." Leo sighed. Mikey looked at him, vision blurry and distorted through the tears.

"Would he move on?"

"Not completely, but he'd still fight in honor of us."

"That's completely ridiculous and you know it! He would never move on! He would see it as his fault and this is my fault!" Mikey screamed.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, if I hadn't gotten grounded, if I hadn't been so stupid, Raph would've never snuck out and left his phone behind. This would've never happened!"

"Don't blame yourself. Raph made his choice."

"His choice!? His choice!? Getting kidnapped wasn't his choice! Dying wasn't his choice! He's dead and it's all my fault!" Mikey sobbed. Leonardo pulled his distraught brother into his chest and hushed him.

"It's not your fault, Mikey." Leo whispered, his voice shaky and heart broken.

"Clear!" The scientist yelled. He placed the defibrillator onto Raphael's chest and side, the jolt sent the limp body up.

"No signs." The scientist assistant sighed.

"Try again." The assistant nodded at her boss and got ready.

"Clear!" The jolt once again sent the body up. A faint beep began and the assistant sighed with relief.

"We have a heart beat."

"Good, get me an IV, something with nutrients, a bowl with cold water and a washcloth, stat!" The scientist ordered. The assistant sprinted out of the room. The scientist placed a hand on Raphael's plastron and smiled.

"You're gonna be just fine, kiddo." Then, walked out of the room.

April walked into her apartment to talk to her dad for a few minutes before heading back to the Lair.

"Dad? I'm home!" April yelled, placing her bag onto the counter. She walked through the apartment searching for her father.

"Dad?" She yelled again. Then, the front door opened.

"Hey, sweetie." Mr. O'Neil smiled. April turned around and walked over to kiss her fathers cheek.
