We all saw a man while simultaneously hearing the wall rise.
[ ??? ] "I apologize for the delay. Thank you for waiting...the entry period for the Hunter applicants is officially closed, so, with no further ado, the Hunter exam will now begin! "
I smiled
[ Examiner ] "One final word of caution, if you're short on luck or ability, keep in mind that there's a genuine chance you could end up seriously injured. Death is another distinct possibility..."
[ Y/n ] "Of course, it will..."
I said something to myself, but Killua overheard and just laughed.
[ Examiner ] "If you're willing to accept the risks involved, I'll ask you to follow me now! But for the rest of you, kindly exit through the elevator located behind you."
Nobody bothered to exit and instead just stood there.
[ Examiner ] "Right then, very well. All 405 applicants will now participate in Phase One!"
He swung around and set out on foot. We all follow behind him, but sooner or later he picks up the speed, forcing us to all begin running.
[ Killua ] "Hey Y/n, let's go in the back and met those people over there"
He points to a child who has been supported
by two adults.
[ Y/n ] "Okay then?"
While I slow down, Killua skates over to that area.
[ ??? ] "Hey, wait up, kid!"

[ Gon ] "The Examiner guy only said we had to follow him"
[ Y/n ] "Thank you, someone got sense"
[ ??? ] "Hey, whose side you on, anyway!"
[ Y/n ] "Yeah...I'll move up the front"
[ Killua ] "Okay, I think I run for a little while"
[ Y/n ] "Alright"
Sweaty people were passed by as I ran up the front.
[ Y/n ] "It's not even that difficult, so why are they sweating?"
[ ??? ] "Hello again, dear~"
When I looked to my side, I saw Hisoka.
[ Y/n ] "Stop calling me that. I have a name, you know."
He just chuckled
[ Hisoka ] "But it suits you very well~"
[ Y/n ] "So does my name..."
[ Hisoka ] "Where did you get your staff from?~"
[ Y/n ] "It was once my great grandma."
[ Hisoka ] "Where is she?~"
[ Y/n thoughts ] "Ugh...this guy asks too many questions."
[ Y/n ] "Dead."
I rolled my eyes and sighed
[ Hisoka ] "Hmm...~"
He chuckled and touched the staff, but it burned his palm.
[ Y/n ] "Until I give someone my trust, it won't allow anyone to touch it."
Hisoka makes a fist while gazing at his palm.
[ Hisoka ] "So, you don't trust me?~"
[ Y/n ] "No, I don't know you. Why would I give you my full trust?"
[ Hisoka ] "That's alright. You don't need to trust me for now~"
He patted my head and ran off somewhere.
[ Y/n thoughts ] "Weirdo..."
When I heard yelling, I looked back
to see the same man who had attempted to control Killua running shirtless.
[ Y/n thoughts ] "Now that's a weirdo..."
