After some time, I noticed a brightness
and became at ease.
[ Y/n thoughts ] "I think that's the exit"
I moved more quickly and arrived.
[ Satotz ] "Now then, let's see how many applicants have made it so far"
I pause next to Satotz to recover my breath before hearing a voice.
[ Killua ] "Y/n, look out!"
When I turned around, Gon and Killua were approaching me. I immediately transformed into tiny stars and teleported to another location.
[ Gon/Killua ] "GOAL!"
They both got into a fight over who made it first, and I chuckled at how adorable they were. When I looked around, I noticed an enormous forest areas.
[ Y/n ] "It looks like anyone can get lost in there..."
[ Gon ] "Hey, Mr.Satotz, is this where the Second Phase begins?"
I give them my full focus.
[ Satotz ] "No, it isn't. We have quite a way to go"
[ Gon ] "Oh, man...!"
As I laughed, people entered one by one in an effort to recover their breath.
I wait with my arms crossed for Satotz to speak. I turned around when I felt someone softly pull at my hair and Hisoka was grinning.
[ Y/n ] "Don't touch my hair..."
[ Hisoka ] "Hello dear~"
The gate closed, and we could all hear a guy shout, "Wait for me!"
[ Satotz ] "These wetland creatures are not to be underestimated, for they will use every trick in the book to fool their prey"
Everyone gasped
[ Satotz ] "This is an ecosystem in which all creatures hunt by the art of deception, and that is why it's also known as Swindler Swamp. Now then, please follow me closely so you won't be deceived."
[ ??? ] "Don't fall for it!"
We all turned around to face a stranger.
[ ??? ] "Don't let them fool you! He's lying, That man is lying to you..."
Everyone glanced at Satotz when he pointed at him before turning to the unidentified guy.
[ ??? ] "He's an imposter, a total fraud! I'm the real examiner; you got it?"
[ ??? ] "What's going on here?"
[ ??? ] "Then, who is he, really?"
[ ??? ] "I prove it; look at this!"
He takes out a weird being that resembles Satotz in appearance.
I lost focus for a moment because I knew this guy was lying because of his emotions even though everyone were all shouting. Suddenly, a card flew by me, inches from my face, and I snapped back to the present.
We all turned to look at Hisoka, who was chuckling and fluttering his card.
[ Hisoka ] "I see, I see... that settles it then, so you are the real one.~"
[ Y/n ] "What the fuck? You could have hit me in the face!"
[ Hisoka ] "Sorry, my dear~"
I swiftly yank his hand away after he pats my head.
