Chapter 28

[ Y/n ] "Okay, are you ready?"

I take out my phone and adjust my staff so that it fits inside my boots. When I turned around, Hisoka stared at me.

[ Y/n ] "Why are you staring?"

[ Hisoka ] "Nothing, you're just so sexy~"

He laughs and flashes me a sneaky smile.

[ Y/n ] "You don't look so bad yourself"

He pulled me in and gives me a kiss. I exhaled after gently pushing Hisoka away.

[ Y/n ] "You're getting too comfortable doing that, I only agreed to go out with you"

[ Hisoka ] "What can I say, I like what I see. After this, we are going to the Heavens Arena"

[ Y/n ] "Okay, but we're walking since you want to look at everything, right?"

He nodded

[ Y/n ] "Alright then"

I rolled my eyes as Hisoka extended his arm for me to link mine with his, then we began to walk. to (the restaurant name). Everyone greeted
me, and some asked to perform tricks, which I had to decline of course.

[ Hisoka ] "I guess you are famous~"

[ Y/n ] "Ugh...don't remind me"

[ Hisoka ] "Shouldn't someone who is famous like you have a limo or expensive cars? ~"

[ Y/n ] "I do, but you mentioned that you wanted to walk and it would draw too much attention."

[ Hisoka ] "I see~"

We made it to the restaurant.

[ Waiter ] "Good afternoon, Miss Y/n!"

He bows to us

[ Waiter ] "And to you too, my good sir. How many tables?

[ Y/n ] "Just one"

[ Waiter ] "Right this way!"

We followed the waiter and sat down at our table.

[ Waiter ] "What drink would you like?"

[ Y/n ]  "(Drink you want)"

[ Hisoka ] "Water~"

[ Waiter ] "Okay!"

I turn to face the window as the waiter leaves.

[ Hisoka ] "What's wrong, dear?~"

[ Y/n ] "I can't even recall the last time I left the home."

[ Hisoka ] "You don't go out a lot?~"

[ Y/n ] "After I graduated college, all I did was concentrate on improving my skills and attempting to gain powerful."

[ Hisoka ] "Hm, and what's wrong with that?~"

[ Y/n ] "It brought me here. I didn't really want fame, and as a result, I lost half of my friends."

[ Hisoka ] "What do you mean?~"

[ Y/n ] "Don't be clueless. It means I have lots of enemies now"

He holds my hands

[ Hisoka ] "I have enemies as well, but that doesn't discourage me; we can have enemies
together~"

I laughed

[ Waiter ] "Here's your drinks, so are you ready to order?"

[ Y/n ] "Yes!"

[ Y/n ] "I actually had fun...!"

I clapped

[ Hisoka ] "I'm glad you had fun!~"

[ Y/n ] "Time to go to the Heavens Arena"

[ Hisoka ] "Oh goody~"

I chuckled and teleported us there.

Hisoka looks at our outfit.

[ Hisoka ] "You change our outfit too, impressive~"

My outfit:

[ Y/n ] "I also left your hair down!"

He touches his hair

[ Hisoka ] "Why?~"

[ Y/n ] "Because you look better"

I smirked and put my staff on my back.

[ Hisoka ] "I will sign us up"

[ Y/n ] "Okay, but let you know I already made it to the top"

[ Hisoka ] "Really?~"

[ Y/n ] "Yes"

He grinned

[ Hisoka ] "I might need to rechallenge you~"

[ Y/n ] "That's fine, but you won't beat me"

He rolled his eyes and went up the front.

[ ??? ] "Y/n, is that you?"
