I opened my eyes, looked around the room, and exhaled.

[ Y/n ] "Ugh, what time is it?"

I check the time |8:35 am|.

I walked into the bathroom to do my hygienes

Outfit:

[ Y/n ] "This outfit looks decent"

I pick up my staff and head over to the cafe.

[ ??? ] "Y/n? Y/N!!"

I turn around and saw Aoi (guy friend)

[ Y/n ] "Hey Aoi!"

We both hugged each other.

[ Aoi ] "Why didn't you tell me you were back in town?"

[ Y/n ] "I had some situation to deal with...I thought you knew already?"

[ Aoi ] "No, I just heard about this guy named Hisoka going to the top of Heavens Arena"

My facial expression changes

[ Y/n ] "Oh, really...?"

[ Aoi ] "Yeah, I think he might go against you if you are having a match today"

I clenched my fist and pressed my lips.

[ Y/n ] "Okay, I'm going to the cafe"

[ Aoi ] "Can I join?"

[ Y/n ] "Sure"

We both continue walking

[ Aoi ] "When I say Hisoka's name, your expression changes, um. Are you okay?"

He looks worried

[ Y/n ] "Oh, I was thinking about something"

[ Aoi ] "About what?"

[ Y/n ] "Uhh, just family"

I gave him a fake smile.

[ Aoi ] "Sorry..."

[ Y/n ] "It's nothing"

[ Aoi ] "So, did you get your hunter license?"

[ Y/n ] "Yes, I did!"

I grinned and show him the license.

[ Aoi ] "Woah, that looks mighty fine!"

We both laughed as we entered the café to place our meal orders.

[ Aoi ] "You go ahead and sit down! I know what you want."

[ Y/n ] "Thank you!"

I pick a table and sat down.

[ Y/n thoughts ] "I can't let Hisoka reach to the top...not on my watch!"

I was lost in my own thoughts and failed to notice that someone was speaking to me.

[ ??? ] "Y/n?~"

I rolled my eyes as I turned to look at the person.

[ Y/n ] "Damn it. What do you want, Hisoka?"

[ Hisoka ] "Can we talk about what h-"

[ Y/n ] "No, leave me alone! Don't you understand I want a break from you?"

[ Hisoka ] "Please Y/n?~"

[ Aoi ] "Umm, what's going on?"

Aoi put the food on the table and sat down.

[ Hisoka ] "Hm, you already replace me?~"

[ Y/n ] "What, n-"

[ Hisoka ] "I get it; I leave you two love birds alone~"

He chuckled

[ Aoi ] "Oh, it's not like that, man..."

[ Y/n ] "Don't be petty, keep him out of it."

[ Hisoka ] "Hmm, alright, dear~"

[ Y/n ] "Don't call me that dumbass clown..."

Hisoka just grinned

[ Hisoka ] "You're coming to my match, right?~"

[ Y/n thoughts ] "More like in it..."

[ Y/n ] "No"

[ Hisoka ] Oh, come on~"

[ Y/n ] "No"

[ Hisoka ] "Well here~"

He gave us tickets and winks at me.

[ Hisoka ] "If you ever changes your mind"

He walks out of the cafe.

[ Aoi ] "Who was that?"
